Eco-friendly Tiny Home in Alberta Arts District
This may technically be a tiny home but it doesn't feel that way when you're inside, and the thoughtful details throughout the space will make you feel right at home. From the heated floor in the bathroom to the extra high ceilings in the living room, the huge walk in shower to the luxurious mattress, pillows and bedding in the loft, this place was designed for ultimate comfort.
While the tiny home was designed with comfort and enjoyment in mind, we also wanted to make it as sustainable as possible. Everything including the heated floor in the bathroom and the heating / cooling heat pump mini-split are powered by solar panels on the roof, and we went overboard with insulation so that it stays cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. We provide soap, shampoo and conditioner all in re-fillable bottles to minimize plastic waste, and the bidet in the bathroom helps cut down on toilet paper waste too!
Sleeping: Getting a good night sleep while away from home can be tricky so we made it as comfortable as possible. The loft sleeping area features: - Queen size Purple mattress with gel flex grid. Great for relieving pressure points and regulating temperature - Multiple pillow options for all types of sleepers - Dosaze contoured orthopedic pillow that cradles your neck, Pillow Cube Ice Cube designed with more support for side sleepers and to keep you cool, Quince down alternative pillow that is soft and hypoallergenic - Premium bedding with sheets from Sijo, Cozy Earth, and Bed Threads. Comforter from Quince
There is also a pull out sofa bed downstairs with a memory foam topper to sleep up to 4 people total. If you plan on using the sofa bed please let me know when you book so that I can set it up for you ahead of time.
Bathroom: - Massive walk in shower with 3 shower heads, heated floor and a bench. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and q-tips provided - Bidet with instant hot water, heated seat, and dryer - Heated floor throughout the entire bathroom - Washer / dryer with detergent provided - Huge backlit mirror
Living: - Kitchenette with mini fridge, single induction burner, electric kettle, french press and pourover coffee makers with coffee provided - Work station with desk and chair - Beautiful circle window and skylight - Customizable and colorful lighting options - Private outdoor patio with table and chairs. Surrounded by garden beds growing bamboo and seasonal vegetables
The neighborhood:
The tiny home is in a beautiful and safe part of Northeast Portland. Enjoy checking out the unique houses and gardens on a neighborhood walk, or visit Wilshire Park just a block away. It's also a great base to explore Portland from:
- 10 minute walk to the Alberta Arts District with tons of shops and restaurants - Fremont and Killingsworth streets offer more shopping and dining ~15 minute walk away - 15 minute drive from the airport - 15 minute drive to downtown or almost any other neighborhood (yes really, Portland is a pretty small city) - 4 blocks from the 33rd st bus, 6 blocks from the 42nd st bus
Host / Guest interaction:
I live in the house right next to the tiny home so I'm available if you need anything or have any questions, but I'm also happy to give you your privacy. Please don't hesitate to reach out if I can do anything to make your stay more comfortable, or if you want any recommendations for exploring Portland.

Even though the house is tiny, it’s set up well so that four adults were totally comfortable. The shower is huge, and the loft is cozy. In a very safe and walkable neighborhood.

We had a great experience with this clean tiny home. My friend and I found it very spacious and really loved this tiny living concept. The veggie garden in front was super adorable. The shower and faucet fixtures were so pretty , w/d brand new looking, great toilet and large sink too. Mattress upstairs was great tempurpedic feeling , ac worked great, and very clean with no bugs! We felt very safe in this area day and night. Fairly quiet neighborhood and easy to get to airport and restaurants anywhere. I always appreciate an air purifier in a home. Thanks!

Miles was a fantastic host. Super friendly and all communication was straightforward and timely. The property is small, but felt spacious for one person. Having a full sized shower and washer/dryer was incredibly nice. The kitchen was not built out when I stayed, but the kitchenette was more than enough.I enjoyed the location. The neighborhood is lovely, it's an easy walk to Alberta Street and grocery store, and quiet at night. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Perfect for 1-2 nights away
My spouse and I stayed for two nights while celebrating our anniversary and attending the annual Oregon Renaissance Faire. It was perfect for us to have a soft landing space for the weekend. The walk-in shower is amazing! The photos and listing are very accurate. It was a cozy and quiet place to disconnect and rest while visiting the Portland area. A recliner or extra seating might have been nice, and I was surprised by the lack of TV, but it worked perfectly for what we wanted and needed. We didn't really need either to enjoy the purpose of our trip. Miles was a communicative host and made sure to give us contact information for assistance while he was away.

Portland Oasis
Perfect space for a solo traveler, a couple, or even a group of three if you’re all friendly. Easygoing, chill host and cool neighborhood location — not far from anything, but removed enough that it feels like a nice oasis.

Really beautiful space. Set up well for 1-2 with a basic kitchenette (wouldn’t be surprised if this gets upgraded- the rest is VERY modern). Modern/effective dehumidifier - super necessary for the dampness of the area at times. The neighborhood is precious and safe. The BEST part is the beautiful shower space to wash off your local hike, bike, adventure. You’re close to EVERYTHING and never feel like you’re “in the city”. This is truly a gem in Portland and I’m so thankful I was able to really relax and enjoy myself a bit during what could have been viewed as a “stressful” trip! I ran a 1/2 marathon checkout day and the host was very communicative about giving me a little extra time to clean up and check out. Nice to work with humans in such a lovely environment.

Really cool little spot!
This is a great tiny house that feels really spacious and has great amenities. You can tell everything is brand new. The bed was comfortable and there is great lighting throughout the space. Loved that the toilet had a bidet and the sink area is spacious and nice. The star of the show, though, is definitely the shower! Huge with 3 different shower head options! It was really peaceful and relaxing, like a little oasis spa. I honestly wished I wasn't so busy and had more time to spend in the space itself. It is in a great neighborhood that still feels quiet and safe (super important in Portland!), but still easy to get around to fun areas of NE. I walked around a bit and enjoyed all the spring flowers and trees blooming. Thanks Miles!
