    The house was in great condition and the pool and spa worked great! The host was very patient with all our questions. The checkout instructions were simple and clear. The Boca Grand neighborhood and beach were a short trip away and soooo beautiful! We also visited siesta beach (great for swimming ) and Nokomis beach for deep sea fishing. The Everglades park and manatee park were also driveable. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. No issues at all with any noise.

    This was such a beautiful place to stay! The home is set right on the canal with views of the sunrise and glow of the sunset. It's a very peaceful area, and since it's on the canal, the birds and fish are very active and entertaining. The home has everything you would need, with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating and entertainment options. I had to reach out to the owner with a few questions. She was incredibly nice and helpful, and she responded right away... couldn't have been nicer! The location of the house is incredibly convenient, with easy access to Boca Grande, Port Charlotte, Englewood, beaches, shopping, groceries, and restaurants. The owner provided all sorts of information on local attractions, activities, and favorite restaurants. I was very sad to leave after my stay at this beautiful piece of paradise. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

    Perfect family vacation

    The house was everything we could ask for and more. The location was perfect not too far from beaches or restaurants. The host was amazing to work and communicate with it. If you visit this home you don’t need to bring anything but your clothes this home is absolutely perfect. It makes vacationing easy!!

    Perfect week

    My family thoroughly enjoyed everything about this rental. It was exceptionally clean and provided a well stocked kitchen for ease of cooking. The pool area and spa were wonderful affording a nice view of wildlife. We especially appreciated the ease of accessibility of the host when answering questions and providing suggestions. All in all, a great rental.

    Very Relaxing

    This house is well maintained and well stocked. The lanai is awesome; pool, spa, bar, grill, and fire table. We spent most of our time here. Caught a few fish off of the dock. Very quiet neighborhood, which is what we wanted. A few notes: My adult children occupied the second and third bedrooms. The beds are double beds, not queen beds as listed. There are no TV's in these bedrooms. Not a deal breaker by any means. Also, while we were there, a house was under construction across the channel, and the noise was terrible. There is no way to remedy this, and there are multiple houses being built in this location, so be aware. The owner, Jackie, is fantastic. She was helpful and informative, and responded quickly. I would definitely stay here if I were in this area again!

    Great Time

    We had a very peaceful time in a very busy area. The house was the most equipped VRBO we have ever stayed at. We had some problems initially with the Spa, but Jackie was great to work with and after 2 days was able to get the problem solved. She then offered to reimburse us the electricity payment for the 2 days we were unable to use the Spa for. Only down side was 2 bathrooms for 3 couples, but we were able to make it work and never a hot water problem. Would stay again.

    ALL ROADS LEAD TO THIS RENTAL PROPERTY!!!

    THIS WAS MY VERY FIRST TRIP EVER TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND I HAD THE ABSOLUTE BEST TIME WITH AMAZING VIEWS AND WEATHER THAT WAS PERFECT, ALONG WITH A HOUSE THAT FELT LIKE HOME. THE OWNER (JACKIE) WAS SO HELPFUL AND SWEET YET PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. COMMUNICATION WITH HER WAS SUPER EASY AND SHE MADE SURE MY FIRST TRIP WAS BEYOND FANTASTIC. THE HOUSE WAS SO CLEAN AND ACCOMMODATING. THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT AND WITHIN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO BEACHES, STORES AND RESTAURANTS. JACKIE DID A EXCELLENT JOB MAKING ME AND MY HUSBAND FEEL AT HOME. IT WAS NICE TO BE ABLE TO RELAX POOLSIDE AT THE END OF THE DAY AND COOK DINNER AND RELAX AFTER BEING AT THE BEACH ALL DAY. I AM THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED WITH THE OVERALL TRIP. THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE AND IT DOESN'T REALLY HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE RESIDENCE ITSELF, BUT I THINK FOR MOST PLACES ON VRBO THAT YOU LOOK TO RENT , THEY DO NOT INCLUDE THE PRICE OF POOL HEAT IN THE STAY AND IF YOU ARE ONLY LOOKING TO UTILIZE A SPA/HOT TUB OR POOL AT NIGHT ONLY THEN IT CAN BE QUITE COSTLY WHEN YOU ALREADY ARE SPENDING MONEY TO TRAVEL. I FOUND SOME PLACES CHARGING A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT ESPECIALLY DURING SUMMER MONTHS. THE ONLY REAL COMPLAINT IS NO-SEE-UMS. THEY SUCK. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL PROPERTY. AND I LOOK FORWARD TO RENTING FROM JACKIE IN THE FUTURE. IT WAS A WONDERFUL TRIP , BEAUTIFUL HOUSE AND PROPERTY. I THANK THE OWNERS FOR SHARING THEIR HOME AND MAKING MY FIRST TRIP TO FLORIDA SUCH A ENJOYABLE, RELAXING, EXPERIENCE.

    Amazing

    Wonderful property! Very well stocked! The kitchen had anything you would need. CLEAN! The owner was very easy to communicate with. The only need for communication was from the owner to us to help us navigate the threat of Hurricane Idalia. She was very helpful through the “stand off”. Thank You for sharing your beautiful home!

    Enjoyable Stay

    The house was nice and overall we enjoyed our stay. We had an issue with the condition of the pool when we arrived but were able to get it resolved. The house faces west, so the pool was shaded in the afternoon, which was really nice in the summer heat. Our only real issue was the security camera at the back of the property. While the camera is disclosed in the rental information, it pointing directly at the pool seemed odd. We were told that we weren't being watched but when we placed a tissue over the camera, we were contacted by the owners asking us to uncover it.

    Slice of Heaven!

    As an experienced VRBO traveller (and, blogger), I was thrilled with my stay. Here's why: I was on the hunt for a property that was in close proximity to where I needed to do some personal business. I wanted amenities for both work and play. So, when this South Gulf Cove post popped up within my targeted area, I was excited by the opportunity. This HYPER clean stay place was everything and much, much more. Super easy check in process, great communication, perfectly located to Manasota Key and Boca Grande, and all the comforts you could hope for - this is a real gem...this South Gulf Cover gets my "wander-ful" seal of approval - which for those that know me, follow me and love me know I don't give this out that easily. If I could give more than 5...I would!

    South Gulf Cove

    The house was extremely clean and bright. Great communication with owner and caretaker. Plenty of room for my husband and I and our college aged daughters. The girls loved their queen sized beds. Furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. We enjoyed spending lots of time in the pool and on the lanai. Reccomend this home to everyone!

    Summer vacation

    The house was impeccable with a wonderful pool and spa. We loved having it on a canal where we could fish. The beaches were 16 to 20 minutes away, and lots of restaurants were about 10 minutes away. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend it for anyone.

    Peaceful and comfortable

    Very peaceful and comfortable home. Pool and Jacuzzi were very wonderful especially heated. Love listening to the birds all day. Condiments and spices left there were helpful. Very clean as well.

    Wonderful and peaceful

    Wonderful property. Loved the pool, Jacuzzi and outdoor covered patio area. Very peaceful on the canal. Nice spacious floor plan that opens up to the patio. Great for family gatherings. Appreciated having lots of amenities. Prompt and easy communication with Jackie. Had a wonderful time. Hope to return again.

    Great little vacay home!

    We were looking for a nice quiet, chill place to stay for spring break and found this amazing home! It was beautiful and included everything we needed and more! It was in a quiet neighborhood and near a water canal, which was nice to walk out to and watch for wildlife. We loved it here and it felt like a home away from home! Will definitely stay again.

    Little slice of heaven

    Beautiful home with a pool/hot tub on a canal. The house is lovely, perfect for a quiet getaway. Conveniently located near stores, 15 minutes or so to multiple beaches. Beautiful sunrises over the canal each morning. The only problem we had was the pool/hot tub heater was broken, the homeowner tried multiple times to have it repaired. We were able to enjoy the pool as air temps were warm enough, however, not the hot tub. They refunded our fee promptly. We would stay there again.

    House is even more beautiful than pictures. Location is in a canal subdivision and is close to anything you may want to do. Owners of house are absolutely wonderful, house is stocked with anything you could possibly need. Loved the pool that over looks the canal.
