Is a great cottage, very cozy and well equipped! The neighborhood is beautiful with stunning views, and the house is right beside the community pool which was wonderful for us. The communication was smooth and fast. For sure we will come back!

The Perfect Getaway

We were looking for a short getaway and we were not disappointed. Clean, cozy cottage in a quiet enclave with everything we needed. It was truly a home away from home. Day trips to Huntsville, Scottsboro and nearby outdoor recreation spots were an easy drive with lazy afternoons at the pool and late night stargazing. This cottage was perfect for our small family!

Mom / Daughter getaway

This is second time we have stayed at Wayward Cottage for our annual Mom / Daughter getaway. We enjoy having the easy access to the pool. It is also so quiet and peaceful. The wifi is strong for me to work remote as needed while we are away. We always visit Unclaimed Baggage while in town and stock up on our airpods and back to school clothes and shoes.

Great place for families with children in summer or peaceful get away prior to pool opening. Stayed Tuesday night departed Friday am. Very quiet and peaceful stay. Twenty five to thirty minutes to Scottsboro. Quality construction and eye for details.

Quiet, well appointed

Gorhams bluff is a very interesting area. It's tucked back in a secluded commune kind of village that seems clean and well maintained. This house is quite beautiful. Already booked a return visit.

Great cozy Cabin with amazing views close

We stayed here for all the close hiking in the area. We didn’t know how amazing the views would be walking around this neat secluded, relaxing community. The hot tub was awesome. Kitchen came with needed things to prepare meals, the outside gas grill was in great shape. Highly recommend this place, and would stay here again.

Comfortable and clean stay

Cabin so quaint and cozy, plenty of room for all and extra things like ninja blender also available. Hot tub was so relaxing, neighbors were quiet. Loved our stay there. Thanks for a memorable weekend.

Another great stay

Mom / Daughter Getaway.

My 12 year old daughter and I wanted a little getaway to hang out and relax. We chose WEyward Cottage for is close easy drive to Unclaimed Baggage for a little shopping on Saturday but we also chose for the community pool to lounge at. It was all we wanted and more. We fell in love with the GEM that is Gorham Bluff. The charming houses and the southern charm and village vibes. We loved the views of the river and hills. Just a great place to getaway that was a quick 6 hour drive from Indiana. I have already spread the word to family that they should go check this place out. We will likely be back soon. The cottage itself has plenty of room and was so comfortable with all amenities we needed.
