Strike 3 youre out

Weve stayed here for 3 years now and after this stay we wont again. Get there to check in and i was waiting behind a couple checking in. A lady and 4 teenage girls comes behind me and the manager immediately stops helping the girl receptionist to go help them check. I guess i didnt look like a i could afford the $1700 for 3 nights cause of my tattoos. Strike 1. Then we go to the room and get ready to go to the beach. Come back hours later and wife wanted to take a bath. Tub faucet handle stripped and shower faucet had to barely turned to get any kind of luke warm water. Called front desk they sent "engineer". He says theyll order part be fixed in morning. Wrong. Strike 2. Had to get firm with them at 3 oclock the next day to even finally get it fixed. But shower still did luke warm water that was never fixed. They offered to swap rooms till they saw no more junior suites were available. No upgrade no hey were sorry heres 10% of your stay back. NOTHING. Except oh well is the vibe i was given. Strike 3. Seems everything went up. Burger and fries at the pool while our 4 yr old swam was $20. Wife ordered a premixed pina colada in a 12 oz foam cup $15. $15 a day to park and dont leave that spot or good luck finding another. The only convenient thing were the food choices across the street.

Elevator Issues

This was the second time I’ve stayed at the Hilton on vacation. The first was pre-Covid. Then just recently in July 2024 on my honeymoon. The main reason I choose this hotel is the beach and pool. It’s so easy to walk right on the beach and not fight crowds. The food and drinks are delicious, but pricey. Our room was clean, but could use a little updating. The shower took a while to drain and was a little dirty around the tub, nothing too terrible though. Our room was on the corner of tower 1 and we were right by the huge air conditioner unit, so we were unable to hear the waves or the beach, which was really disappointing. The elevators were concerning. They made unnerving sounds, shook, and by the end of the trip only one was working… so it took forever to get anywhere with all the guests using one elevator. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially when loading/unloading luggage. We will continue to stay at the Hilton on vacation, but hope they fix the elevators and will request a room away from the air conditioner units so we can hear the waves.

We just spent 4 nights in a Junior suite and had a fantastic time. Plenty of space, great pool, phenomenal beach. The staff was constantly cleaning up the main areas from water and sand. We liked having the cafe and the henna/hair wrapping right in the lobby. There were plenty of dining options within walking distance, as well as mini golf/arcade.
