I’ve had two really good experiences renting from individuals at EI. I didn’t think much about renting from a property management company until I got there this time and I could immediately tell the difference. Renting someone’s vacation home, that they care about versus renting a condo that’s owned by a property management company is night and day. There were at least three outlets that did not work, above the large living room window the curtain rod area looked to be puttied and sanded but not painted. The bedroom tv had sound only, no picture. The master bath has a moldy shower curtain. The patio furniture is very beaten up. The living room furniture was also quite worn and dingy. The view is, as always, spectacular, if you want a better water view, go above the second floor. Very easy beach access and I love having the beach chairs included. There were plenty of towels for two of us, however I had anticipated 3 and that would have been rough. The kitchen had everything we needed, but we didn’t cook anything elaborate. Someone had moved the ice tray and the ice maker had nearly filled the entire freezer.
I didn’t contact the property management company while I was there, because, honestly I didn’t want to waste my precious vacation time. I’m leaving a review hoping they do better for the folks who pay good money to stay here, and to give information to those looking at this property.
