Pot smell. Noisy.

Air conditioning was set at 66 no lower, and it felt like 80. Rugs had stains and shower was mildew.

This is our 2nd summer vacationing at the westminster hotel and this time around we enjoyed ourselves alot more.

Nice clean place with a great resturant, location is great near many stores, matterss was terrible very soft without any support, the facility could use a bit of an upkeep, both entrence doors are broken! gives you the wrong impression about the place since it isn't a bad place with a small invsetment of matterss and nicer sheets

The bathroom had mold all over the walls and no hot water. Also the carpets and sheets had stains all over

Was a little disappointed in the Westminster. Have stayed here on many occasions prior to Covid. It seems a little run down. Needs a revamp. Check in was easy. Room was okay but had no remote in room. Then there was a group of children screaming and running in the passage way at 11:30pm .Called to complain and the front desk said they were coming in from the pool and they were just transitioning from the pool to the room. These were young toddlers . There is no atmosphere in the hotel.

I like to that there was a pool and jacuzzi but the area was filled with trash. There were empty beer cans, coffee cups, wet towels that people used on the floor. The chairs were old and some had food stains I believe. The bathroom in my hotel room was overall decent but the tub didn't drain all the way so there was a water ring around the drain it looked disgusting. I had to end up getting a different room because in the first room there was a stain on the couch and there was food still in the mini fridge from the previous person. They also need updated photos because when you get there the photos compared to what it looks like, looks lile it was from 20 years ago. The hotel is alot older than the pictures show.

Would of been outstanding if the restaurant was open really didn’t care for the outside options to eat

I would recommend this hotel to everybody because I absolutely loved my stay here.

We booked a night at this hotel because we were one of the homes affected by hurricane Isias. We were at another hotel for 5 days but needed to check out bc they were fully booked for the remainder of the week. We booked a night at the Westminster through Orbitz. After checking out of our previous hotel and before checking into the Westminster we wanted to check our home just in case the power was back on. Fortunately our power was back on. We quickly called the hotel and informed them that our power was back on and no longer needed the room. The manager informed us that we can cancel the reservation but would not be refunded bc our reservation was within the 72 hour window. I called the hotel at 12 noon and check in wasn’t until 3pm so they had plenty of time to rebook the room. I begged for a refund since we had spent $2000 on hotel rooms since the storm but she said no sorry I can’t. Very unsympathetic - it was not like we booked a room for a vacation and changed our minds, this was a devastating storm that left thousands without power for a week and homes destroyed. Not to mention we are all still financially crippled from job loss due to Covid. It’s times like this that businesses should be more empathetic and supportive to the residents of our communities. We are out over $700 in food lost during the power outage and over $2000 in hotel room costs. Now we are out the $284.72 for a room we didn’t need. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and will never book here.

Was suppose to stay for two days but it was too uncomfortable.. the hotel is very outdated.. Old Tv’s, old microwave & refrigerator.. Asked to switch to a better room & was told the room we were in was the best they have.. the only renovation done to that room was the bathroom & it was just OK. We wanted a king size bed but it was just two full size beds pushed together. We checked out immediately!
