This is our third family ski trip to Park City and we have always stayed in a condo in the Lodge at Mountain Village complex.
This condo lacked the comfort and details. Here’s the Good and Bad of this particular condo:
Good:
- this location is superb. Ski rental, multiple ski lifts, restaurants, coffee shop, and retail shops all located in this complex.
- this condo had a nice view and felt sunny and bright.
- one parking spot for our rental car.
- laundry machine in the unit.
Bad:
- really uncomfortable foam mattress in the main bedroom.
- vertical blinds in main BR had missing slats upon arrival and had to hang a bed sheet all week for privacy. Reported broken blinds on arrival. Handyman arrived unannounced 4 days later with new slats, but my wife was on a video work call when he arrived, so he left me with the slats. However, the condo has zero tools available and I had to borrow a screwdriver from the ski rental shop and finally fixed the blinds on day 6 and removed the hanging sheet.
- 2” gap on left side of vertical blinds couldn’t be closed for privacy in the main BR.
- No vacuum, No Broom, No Mop. Seriously, we need something to clean up the floor.
- bath fans were noisy and come on automatically. The fan in the laundry randomly turns on all day.
- hot tub in the building was “out of order” during our stay.
- the fireplace is a joke and barely shows a flame.
- the condo had one extra garbage bag, no tin foil, no shelf space.
