Our stay at Main & Sky was an absolutely torrid experience. The Pool was out of action for the entire week we were there, the breakfast inedible, the transportation services limited and the reception staff were both incapable and indifferent to any form of complaint and providing any form of customer service. The management then took an unauthorised payment from my Credit Card and after limited correspondence offered a small unacceptable discount which they never honoured. I therefore entered into a dispute case with American Express who incidentally have been absolutely fantastic and supportive but it would appear such unscrupulous vendors can decline to engage with little consequence. I will return to Park City ( a beautiful resort ) but will avoid Main & Sky at all costs as they are a dishonest hotel with faceless, poor quality management but most worryingly it appears they are unaccountable. The owners do not seem to care or ever address the numerous complaints now arising through social media which is fortunately giving badly treated customers a voice !

I have stayed here twice and both times they double charged me. I had to call 3-4 times to get it resolved. When I expressed to the concierge that she needed to take care of it immediately I was told to call back between the hours of 11pm-7am. She then hung up on me and refused to take the call. The pool was out of commission. There was no room service. The restaurant in the hotel looks like a business conference room. The bar downstairs was empty and the housekeeping didn't show up till evening.

Family and myself were booked to stay here and spend a couple of days in Park City as the first part of our spring break vacation. Unfortunately we were caught trying to travel during a late season winter storm and had flight after flight delayed then cancelled, got caught up in a Delta delay debacle, and we were unable to make it. The cancellation policies are clear, so I did not expect a refund, but I was hoping that this hotel would at least consider allowing us to re-book for a future date. They did not. What disappointed me the most, however, is that when I contacted them by phone I was told that someone would get back to me to discuss options but this never happened. I followed up with an email - again no response. I would have at least expected a reply of some sort, if for nothing else but to tell me 'sorry about your luck' or something. Crickets. If this is the way they communicate with prospective customers then it's no surprise that on site service seems to be lacking also. We will return to Park City but will most certainly not stay here.

This hotel is perfectly located downtown park city Close to the town chair lift to the mountain. Most rooms are two bedroom suites with a small living room and kitchenette No room service No restaurant open when we were there.

Stayed at Main & Sky for a quick spring ski weekend, and was (for the most part) very pleased. You can't beat the location, with extremely easy access to bars, restaurants, shops, and the town lift. We stayed at Park City/Canyons for skiing, so we never once needed a car or shuttle to go anywhere. The room was very nice and large. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Sky Suite and had more than enough space for the 2 of us. Everything in the bedroom and bathroom was very well appointed and properly functioning. I had enough closet space for about 5 ski weekends, so it was really easy to store my gear and clothes without leaving the room a mess. Cleaning service came twice daily, so the place was always looking great. We had this really high-tech coffee maker in our room which we never figured out how to work, and the staff seemed unable to explain it. That leads to the one big problem with this hotel... They really shouldn't advertise "breakfast included". Don't even consider it as you evaluate your hotel choices. Others in this forum have commented on the poor food and service, so I won't pile on. My problem is that despite the high price you'll pay, you can't walk downstairs and get a cup of coffee prior to the restaurant's opening at 7:30AM. 7:30!!! If you're a jet-lagged east coaster like me, 7:30 is just not good enough. To top it off, the one lady I could find working in the kitchen seemed incredulous that I would even ask. I sure hope they take my advice to make that one small adjustment... Even the most basic hotels have coffee in the lobby. The hotel's location comes to the rescue, though. Go to Atticus for breakfast right around the corner. They make all kinds of good stuff, and their coffee is good and... well, it's ready before 7:30AM. Despite my rant about the coffee, please accept my view that this is a very comfortable hotel in a great spot to hit the slopes and apres ski joints. And, plan to go somewhere else for breakfast.

I have stayed at Main & SKY for many years and was very disappointed at the staff and service when we stayed at the hotel in January. It is a great location and the layout is very good for a sky vacation. That said from the moment we walked in the hotel the staff was unhelpful: from asking if we needed help with all our ski luggage as my husband was unloading the last piece, to not having a driver available to take us to the ski resorts, to me having to tell the drivers how to get to the local grocery store, to badly mismanaging a small billing dispute which took me 7 calls to the hotel and finally having to dispute it with my credit card company. My recommendation would be go on verb and find a nice condo and use Uber Ski. It will be much cheaper and better then Main & SKY.

I've stayed a lot of hotels across the world and I have never felt the need to complain as I am about to now. Although the rooms nice, the service was atrocious and borders on laughable! For an establishment that markets themselves as luxury, they've obviously not been far out of Utah in their time. From the moment we arrived, there seemed to be no-one in charge with only barely a form of skeleton staff on hand throughout the day. None of said staff seemed to know anything about the mountain, nor seemed to have skied Park City or the surrounds in their life. The pool (which was a major criteria for selection) was not working, nor could the staff provide a straight answer for the completion of the maintenance. The "continental breakfast" was hilarious at best given it was a “first in best dressed” and that we ended up helping ourselves to milk out of the main commercial kitchen fridges because there was no-one around to help. The shuttle service, although sometimes helpful and the drivers nice and friendly, was sporadic at best. All of the above is due to poor management and no form of operational guidance whatsoever! In the end, we weren't even sure who to complain to because no one knew who was actually running this top it off, they then deducted the full amount after agreeing not to charge until a reasonable discount had been agreed. Would recommend to go to somewhere cheaper down the road where the price is more aligned to the level of service.

I am not one to ever write hotel feedback but I feel compelled to warn other paying customers about this given how expensive it is for the awful experience we received. I was hugely disappointed with our stay here, what could be a fantastic hotel experience was bitterly let down by the exceedingly poor staff. Whilst the rooms were comfortable, and the location was great, sadly everything else was an utter let-down. The lounge area in our room was dark and dingy with no natural light and a makeshift kitchen area. It could barely fit 4 persons. The “continental breakfast” was utterly laughable with just a miniature table of croissants and a bowl of cereal (we had to fetch our own milk from the kitchen as no staff manned it for the entire 7 days of our stay) We ended up paying to eat out for breakfast nearby. The pool was broken for the entire trip. What was more shocking was that the staff didn’t even appear to know what the problem was, or seemingly speak to one another, so we were constantly getting different and conflicting explanations. The hotel was extremely understaffed, with what seemed like children running the front desk who had no clue about absolutely anything, particularly customer service. The staff were atrocious! We gave up enquiring about anything. We were told the shuttle would collect us from Deer Valley at 10pm one night, to be later told the shuttle stops at 8pm and the one girl running reception couldn’t drive so she couldn’t pick us up! The spa prices are also extortionate. All other spa’s nearby were 50% of these prices. The management/owners are seemingly only interested in taking their customer’s very last cent and not delivering any enjoyable experience whatsoever in return. They are criminals. We haven’t even heard anything from management about our complaints and we left nearly 2 weeks ago. Avoid this “hotel” at all costs.

I book trips here for clients who visit Park City for business. I have booked rooms for guests at all the top end hotels in Park City and this is the favorite- unanimously- according to my clients. Tons of space in each room. One room has its own pool table- ask the hotel to book that room if you are interested! Some rooms have a deck with a private hot tub. One room has a lovely bathtub with water that comes down from the ceiling. If you are looking to impress clients or anyone else, stay here. You won't be disappointed. They have valet parking so you don't have to deal with the difficulty of finding parking in downtown Park City. The location is perfect- on Main Street within a 1-5 minute walk to all the best restaurants in "Old Town" Park City. Staff is helpful as well. Very affordable in the off season but expensive like all the best hotels in ski season.

The hotel was chosen due to its location, premier level of comfort/service on offer & facilities provided. It is very well positioned for all local restaurants, shops & access for skiing. The room was nice, comfortable & well equipped, although the kitchen area was small & really dark. Not being able to open a window or allow any fresh air into the apartment made it uncomfortable, stifling at times. The day we arrived, there seemed to be a lack of information all round. The swimming pool was not working, they wasn't sure why other than it could be harmful, with no idea when it may be fixed. The receptionist actually joked about the breakfast being basic at best & had little idea regarding the skiing when asked, which we was excited to learn about. This theme continued throughout our stay, with the swimming pool being out of action for the entire duration, no idea why other than could not obtain the parts. Again, this was a huge issue, given we were skiing all day & wanted to relax in the spa before dinner. This was one of numerous issues, which was lost on the staff member. No alternatives were offered, as neighbouring hotels do not support each other apparently. The breakfast was beyond laughable, with some hard bread & cereal being left out, but no one to interact with, or refill when the coffee was empty. This is really important to us before a days skiing so consequently we were forced to go elsewhere. This was politely pointed out & we were informed, this is all we offer. This is not acceptable for a hotel which prides itself on a superior level of service where the breakfast is built in as part of the pricing, incurring considerable cost throughout the stay for our party, which should not have been the case. There were several examples where the information provided at the front desk was confusing at best, even to the point where one of the helpful drivers disagreed & provided a shuttle run which was not supposedly available. Overall a great holiday which was hampered by the hotel experience. The management appeared chaotic in their approach, poorly trained & totally lacking on good customer service. Overall a really disappointing experience & the management concerned, when requested, was not available to discuss at any point, further illustrating the point regarding lack of care or concern towards our frustrations. To date, there has still been no response.
