Poor ecample of beach rental

Floors dirty. Had to rewash. Wait time for elevators was 45 .min plus. Had to carry our luggage down 15 flights of stairs to leave since elevator was out. When booking Vrbo site was Not user friendly. All in all will not stay here again!

Will not stay at the hotel again. The staff was rude and the condo wasn’t cleaned very well.

I would advise you to get a different cleaning company , I would also put some rat traps down. The ceiling needs to be replaced in the hall and new sheets for the beds. We had blood stains on them. You should also replace the patio furniture. Also I would change the that you get 10 wrist bands to 8 at check in.

Love the Gulf

The view of the pool and ocean was beautiful! Beds/furniture comfortable, nice to have 3 full bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen and large refrigerator. Cable TV in living room and both bedrooms. The bunk room was right by the main door and would have been nicer if had a door or curtain of some kind to block the light and for privacy. One of the chairs on the deck was broken. It appeared clean but I decreased the stars due to a mouse in the kitchen closet the first night we arrived. It ran under the refrigerator. I called the realitor and did it receive a call back for 14 hrs. In the mean time I spoke with the maintenance of the building who could not enter the condo but offered advice of sticky traps to catch it. I purchased traps and never did catch it or see it again. I was told that an exterminator would be out but they did not show while we were there. Walmart is walking distance making it easy to get groceries for the week. White sand beach is amazing. Water color and clearity was beautiful! One day there was a seaweed problem on the beach but the rest of the time there was no problem. We didn’t have a problem w the elevators. Maybe a little wait during popular check in and check out times. There are carts at the front entrance you can borrow as long as you leave your license. The wrist bands must be worn throughout the building at all times. Is a good way for them to know who belonged. We enjoyed our time at Panama City Beach!!

Overall, the condo was nice; there were a few issues. We were without a TV for 24 hours. I did text property owners to let them know of a few issues; so hopefully they resolved those after we left (a few light bulbs not working; 1 lamp the part was missing to turn it off and on; also one of the closet doors off track. I wish there had been some kind of lock/latch on the inside of the door; safety for two women. We love Shores of Panama have been staying there for years. I would recommend it.

Check-in was terrible. Resolving issues with platitudes does notwork.

Property suited our needs. Some Vacassa policies were not customer-friendly and I had never experience with any previous rentals, i.e. they would not provide check-in email a day before arrival, all others provided at least 3 days before arrival. Have never before been in a rental property that did not have WIFI information in multiple locations in the housing. I don't know if this is the owner's decision another customer unfriendly Vacassa rule. Since I would be traveling several hours to the house on the day of arrival. I called Vacassa in the morning and got the code to enter the house. I was not aware that I needed additional codes (e.g. to open gate to enter property), and the person that gave me code to enter the house did not seem to feel that it was important to tell me the gate code. I arrived at the gate and could not get in. drove around the outside of the property to see if there was another entrance, there was not. Drove back to gate and fortunately a construction equipment had driven close enough to the exit gate that the exit gate opened, so I went in through the exit gate. Entered the house and then could not locate WIFI information so could not retrieve the all-important email from Vacassa that they refused to send the day before. Eventually called Vacassa again and received the WIFI info. The check-in was a disaster and after driving several hours, I only wanted to unpack and decompress from driving. This is one of the few condo-type houses I have been in that did not mark the light switches. There was a light I could not turn on and had no idea what switch would have turned it on although there were two wall switches that did not appear to control anything. The property manager was contacted and I believe entered the property while I was gone (but left no note) and did not fix the problem. My phone was not working well and I requested that they respond by email, but apparently, they do not do email (Vacassa refused to provide me with the property manager email). Generally, I felt that Vacassa replied with platitudes rather than making sure I was satisfied. Other miscellaneous issues: • Seemed to be a shortage of waste baskets. Ended up improvising. • First house I was ever in that did not have a broom. • The ceiling in the main part of the house had been repaired, but the ceiling paint used did not match the rest of the ceiling. • Quite a few damaged tiles throughout the house. Perfect location.

Beautiful condo in a great location. Had everything we needed for our stay. The elevator situation was frustrating at times, but we survived it. The parking is extremely limited and takes 15mina to circle the parking garage to make it to the top floor to find an unreserved spot, if you’re lucky.

Owner and condo staff are not the same.

The stay was good. The only issues were the on site condo staff didn’t seem to go out of their way to help so trying to figure out parking and everything was a little difficult. Also we didn’t like the fact that maintenance guys came in to change out a microwave which took an hour or so in the middle of our only full day there so we had to sit there because we don’t like people we don’t know have unsupervised access to our personal belongings. I did receive a call from someone but wasn’t able to speak with them so I am not sure if they were calling to let us know the guys were coming or what. Over all. Awesome condo, awesome facility. And what you see in the picture is what you get. Provided everything we needed for a weekend get away so that was nice not having to go buy extra stuff at Walmart.

Disappointing

Pictures were deceiving. 4 elevators for 23 floors and a lot of condos, parking garage horrible, sliding door didn’t work, pans were unusable, shower door off of bunk room didn’t shut, chair at table broken, trim under counter broken, floors were sandy upon arrival, not a good experience
