The condo is nicely decorated however upon arrival we noticed several maintenance issues. One most concerning was the unit was not cleaned adequately. There was a plastic cup underneath the ottoman in the master bedroom along with a broken window shade. I read a previous review that stated the same complaint . There were children’s socks, crumbs and dirt beneath the living room sofa. A large window in this same area did not have a window shade. There was misplaced trash inside garbage receptacle. The freezer was frozen nearly shut. We spent 45 minutes or better trying to thaw it to be able to use it. Once we were able to open it, there was a left over item inside the freezer. The “ice maker” was labeled do not use. This was not a recent malfunction, as there was debris brown on color that was located inside the unit. Another, major miss in this unit, no ability to have ICE. I contacted the property management company, Vacation Life Properties, who resent a cleaner to the unit. Victor spent over an hour and 45 minutes cleaning the unit with supervision. I never heard back from Haley, Calista or anyone else regarding my concerns. At this price, I would expect the owners would want their investment to be a 5 star unit, to which it is not! I took the time to google the management company and saw that they have similar complaints with cleanliness and communication. My 3rd stay at Tide Water least favorite unit…
