Christmas stay

Really nice home. 3rd bathroom outside main house is a little odd. Busy street and was not aware of the amount of street traffic. Great house but location not my favorite.

Springtime in PS

We had a great trip. We loved the backyard and the pool and spa. The natural light in the house is fantastic with all the glass sliding doors. The front street noise is definitely noticeable when in the bedrooms. If you are a light sleeper this might not be the right place for you. We used ear plugs making it okay for sleeping, but the house is on a busy road. You do not hear it in the backyard, but loud in the bedrooms and noticeable. The bedrooms are in the front of the house and single panel windows. Overall though a great rental. The kitchen has a lot of great cookware and supplies.

Just about perfect

Exactly what a rental should be! Great house, beautifully furnished with everything you need. Super communicative and helpful management company. Wonderfully maintained pool and spa. Close to everything. And absolutely no checkout to-do list (other than lock the door behind you)! Other reviews talk about street noise - and there is some, but it was a complete non-issue for us. There’s also light in the bedrooms early, so if you’re a light sensitive sleeper, you may be up early.

Enjoyable Getaway

My partner and I attended a wedding in the Palm Springs area and thoroughly enjoyed this VRBO! The checkin and checkout process was ideal, the house is convenient to anything you need and served as a relaxing place to unwind every day! We’d definitely stay here again.

Birthday Weekend!

Girls' weekend with my daughters and our besties! I looove the heat, so Palm Springs in July is perfect for me. The MCM was on point, everything was super clean, there was plenty of space for eight to play and six to sleep (following the rules!). The road is very loud with many firetrucks, but we were close to everything including the Best Bookstore, Pink Palm, thrift stores, groceries and great Mexican food. This house was spectacular and the pool was amazing. Already planning our next trip.

Beautiful and peaceful

The house is beautiful and the amenities were great. The area is very quiet and peaceful. There was a reviewer who mentioned the car noise from the busy street but the noise machines in the bedrooms are great at canceling it out. The pool accessories could use a refresh. Other than that our stay was perfect and ACME is great at responding with any questions. Definitely will stay here again!

Great house and amenities. Right on a busy road which was not ideal but each room was equipped with a white noise machine which helped. Kitchen was fully stocked and great for cooking meals. Pool and hot tub were perfect. Loved the decor, furnishings and overall ambiance.

Racquet Club Estates

Home was very comfortable and our family really enjoyed the pool while our dog loved the yard. After some initial issues with pillows which Acme resolved quickly our stay went well. One of the problems with vrbo bookings is you never know the exact location until you confirm the booking. The home is on a very very busy street and the traffic noise detracted from our stay, particularly in the early morning rush hour - you could not sleep in past 6:00am! A very nice home but a very poor location.

Unbelievable Beauty and Peace in a Historic Home

I love ACME. Their service team are responsive and helpful. They are managing glorious mid Century Modern dreamboats with every mod con you'd need. The pool and jacuzzi were heated (it is winter!) and the kitchen was full of plates and glasses and cooking accoutrements. A guide was provided, updated, to tell you where to eat and drink. The bed was ultra comfortable! It was amazing, having two bathrooms! Not used to that at all. We came for the PS Film Festival, and I would def return and book an ACME home. Because these are not just houses. This place felt like home! We had a view of the mountains to die for, and could watch the tram make its way up the mountain at night. If I could ask for anything, it would have been perhaps some standing lights, so that you could sit, for example, on the sofa, and read a book, without having to use the overhead lights. But this is a small request. We loved our experience!

Such a great pool!

We loved staying in Palm Springs again and this was the perfect property for our family - only issue was the landscapers came on a different day and did a lot of work - this could have been better communicated / managed. Would stay here again :)

Best Place to Hide Out

We lost our home and needed a place to stay for over a week as our new home got ready. This mod house with a pool was a fantastic break in our frantic reality. It's very different from how we normally live, and we love that. We even learned a few things about midcentury modern architecture thanks to their well-chosen books in the house. And the pool was just right! Highly recommended.

Mid Century Dream

The property was perfect as it checked off all the boxes for us. The interior is very clean, roomy and comfortable. My only suggestion to be more family friendly, would be to add another TV in the primary bedroom or office as there is only one television in the living room. This home overall was our favorite out of all the PS rentals we had thus far. We definitely want to rent this home again.

Great getaway!

This property is as stunning as pictured and had all of the amenities one could want. The pool and yard were perfect and the location is great being located so close to downtown; dining and shopping. The house was also right near a playground which was ideal for our young child. Only downside is it’s location on a busy street with bedrooms located at the front of the house with decent road noise. We would still stay again regardless.

Beautiful Property

The house and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool and the backyard. There is a large park across the street that was great for our dog to exercise. The street in front of the house is busy but it was not a distraction.

Fantastic House

My wife and I stayed four nights and enjoyed every minute. The house is well decorated, yard was immaculate and super private. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, but if you want to use the hot tub make sure you turn it on well before you want to get in, it seems to take a while to heat up. Great stay!

Clean, Comfortable, Fun

The house was clean and had all of the essentials we needed to enjoy the pool, spa and kitchen. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 adults to play and eat. So close to great hiking and shopping. We all agreed it was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at.

Perfect location, size, style!

We spent 5 delightful days in PS for a wedding. We brought our children and their spouses for a family rendezvous. Lots of relaxing time around the pool/hot tub. The white noise machines in each bedroom worked well to block street noise. ALMOST close enough to downtown shopping and restuarants to walk, but a very short drive. Would stay again for sure!!

Lovely place! Only issue was the 3rd bathroom was placed outside. We ran out of toilet paper. A/C made a lot of noise that vibrate the whole house. Server minor issues, however we managed and we had a wonderful time.

Mid-Century Modern

Great example of period architecture that is well maintained from an exterior and interior design perspective. The neighborhood is off of a busy street, which wasn't an issue for us, but can be noisy. It is also in a windier part of town. Once again, it is part of the town and topography, not a fault of the property. Well-appointed kitchen, fun interior design, clean and well-maintained. Owner provides towels for the pool. Third bathroom off of the pool is nice so don't get tracking through the house. Perfect for our stay and all-in, very nicely done.

A wonderful mid-century getaway!

The beautiful house was clean and ready from the start of our visit and had the perfect layout and Palm Springs vibe. It was very hot so the pool was necessary and welcoming! We had everything that we needed and if not, there was plenty of shopping close by. We will definitely come back here again!!

Great property

Our stay was very enjoyable. It's a beautiful pool and yard. The house was clean and easy to access. In the evenings, there were some cicadas that dropped in the pool, which freaked out my wife, but she's deathly scared of any bugs. I'd stay here again. There is a grocery store 5 min away and downtown Palm Springs is 10 min away.

Weekend Getaway

We wanted to get the family out of the house and do a mini vacation that was not too far away. We had a great time. The pool was perfect. The beds were comfortable, only wish one of the rooms had double beds (my kids did not want to share a bed). The best part of our stay was the well stocked kitchen!! It had everything you need and every cabinet was labeled (the ocd in me loved this). This house was also not to far from the main drag. Note to property manager: the outlet by the outdoor bathroom, lights above the bbq, and the light/fan above the patio table did not work.
