It was clean, easy to get to! The staff was great! We had breakfast included but we didn’t have time to use the pool. We would stay again!!

There is supposed to be a lounge/bar per the property description and the guy checking us in, 'opens at 5 and closes at 10'. We got back to the hotel and was told that they decided not to open it that day after all. What?! Same thing happened when we got up the next morning and went to get some of the free breakfast, no food.

The property seemed pretty outdated and in definite need of an update.

As stated earlier rooms smell musty, exterior noises are excessive from the hallway, The air-conditioner is subpar and default back to a predetermined setting no matter what you set the temperature.

Shower tub was had black stains in it. The room smelled mildewey and like cigarettes. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly especially the front desk lady.

Booked a king and instead was given a double queen. No elevator so have to pack all luggage through stairs. Both beds in room were broken (springs) and made loud noises when you moved, couldn't even get comfortable! Didn't plan on leaving until around 8am but at 4:30am we packed up and left. Front desk was RUDE! Would NEVER stay again!

We went to Kentucky for Little Sturgis Bike Rally! Our trip there was awesome. The motel was great! We loved the outdoor pool! The water was so warm and you could actually enjoy it! The people down there were super nice. Our room was very nice! The only thing that could've been better was the breakfast buffet. Would've been nice to see some eggs, bacon, and other items. The gravy on the biscuits tasted like flour! Other than that the restaurant had great food that was located in the motel! Would stay there again anytime!!!

We had a horrible stay. For 1, my husband is totally disabled an handicap. The 1st room (156) was a handicap room but was full of MOLD and MELDEW on the carpet, chairs, headboard, and tv stand. So hotel staff moved us to another room (141) that was not handicap acces. My husband couldnt move around in the room with his walker...and this room was full of black BUGS. In the shower....I EVEN CAUGHT A BUG ON THE PILLOW NEXT TO MY HUSBANDS HEAD. I asked for some sort of compensation and the staff said i have to go through u to get it. Please make this right!!!!!

For a cheaper hotel it was accommodating. Pillows where very nice.

I stayed at this hotel for one night because of a funeral in Henderson. The hotel was convenient and cheap, but not a place I would recommend for a stay over two nights. The rooms are sufficient, but the bed was not extremely comfortable. The breakfast was sub-par, but adequate. It is close to numerous restaurants, downtown Henderson and about 15 minutes from Evansville airport.

Thank you for your review of our hotel. We value all feedback from our guest. I do apologize for any inconvenience that you experienced while staying with us. I do want to ensure you that it is only under an emergency situation that our lounge would not be open during the scheduled hours and I apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused for you. Our continental breakfast hours are Monday to Friday 5 am to 9 am and Saturday and Sunday 6 am to 10 am. Each morning we offer: biscuits, gravy, sausage, bagels, cream cheese, assortment of jellies, butter, 3 flavors of muffins, white and wheat bread, oats, fresh fruit, 4 different cereals, 3 flavors of yogurt, Belgium waffles, orange juice, apple juice, milk and coffee. It disappointed me to hear that you did not get to enjoy our fresh breakfast. I do hope that you will stay with us again, as it is always our goal for our guest to have an excellent stay and get to experience the amenities that we offer. Bri, Thank you for your review. We always appreciate hearing from our guest. Our hotel has undergone a major renovation on the exterior and interior. While updating with new flooring, fresh paint, modern lighting, we have managed to preserve some of the beautiful features that have made our hotel a favorite place for many people over the years. Our rooms are all interior entrance for the safety of our guest. Security cameras, Rfid door locks, and 24 hour front desk staff also provide a high level of security. We are one of the few hotels who offer smoking and non-smoking rooms. We are a pet-friendly hotel. Make yourself at home in one of our comfortable guest rooms, which feature flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators, modern 3-sheet bedding, and new mattresses. We also offer a fabulous salt-water pool with lounge chairs and a bar-b-q grill. Our free parking is large enough to accommodate commercial vehicles and we are within walking distance of restaurants, and several shopping centers. Our newly opened on-site restaurant The Bistro, offers light menu meals and a full bar. If you want to relax and watch a big game, the 170-inch projection screen will be something you enjoy, or maybe music from the jukebox. The Bistro offers room service so our guests never have to leave the comfort of their room. Thank you for taking a moment to review your stay. This fall we began our seasonal deep cleaning process and have deep cleaned rooms and cleaned all air conditioning units. We strive to have a pleasant fresh smell in our hotel, I will make sure to ask our housekeeping staff to double check the room you stayed in. We have purchased digital smart thermostats which analyze the temperature, occupancy and humidity of the room and turn on and off heat and air accordingly to ensure optimal room conditions at all times. Of course the guest in an occupied room can adjust the room temperature of their room to their liking when they are in the room as well. We are very excited to add this new and innovative technology to our guest rooms in 2015 and 2016. I will pass on your concerns to our maintenance staff so they can look into the air. Thank you for your feedback, and I hope you will visit us again and see our new technology in operation.

Thank you for your feedback. It is always wonderful to hear that our staff was friendly and helpful. Our goal with every stay is a happy and satisfied guest. We recently upgraded the entire hotel air circulation system so that our rooms and hallways will have a fresh smell since we do offer smoking rooms in a section of our hotel. I am very glad to read you enjoyed our new beds which are being used in all rooms as we renovate. We use high quality name brand mattresses to ensure our guests comfort. Concerning the issue with your bath tub, I have passed this along to the appropriate staff for an inspection to be done on all our tubs, to make sure they are clean and stain free. I hope that you will give us a 2nd visit in the future and enjoy the many changes happening daily as we renovate.

Megan, thank you, for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to share with us concerning your stay. Last winter and spring, we did a major renovation here at the hotel. The renovation included all new name brand mattress and box springs being placed in each of our guest rooms. I have asked that our housekeeping staff to double check the beds in each of the rooms, just to make sure that they are all in good condition. Thank you for bringing to our attention concerning the springs. We are finishing up some more renovations at this time. We are so happy to let our guest know that we are opening a bistro right here in the hotel. The bistro will be serving light meals and drinks and also offer catering for events held at the event center. A very exciting part of the bistro is that they will be serving our continental breakfast from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. each morning.
