Condo was nice overall. However, upon arriving, we noticed there were no washcloths, only 1 hand towel (for 3 bathrooms), and 7 towels. We had to go to walmart and buy some hand towels and washcloths to use for the week. Also, with 5 of us staying, we had to wash towels multiple times throughout the week.
Additionally, the nest air conditioner is set on a funky program. We manually had to change it every day, and it still would revert back to it's programmed setting which was blasting heat. Woke up every morning sweating. Additionally, after a long day at the park, we would come back to the heat blasting (even though it was 70 degrees outside). We checked the setting before bed and before leaving every day. Not sure what the deal was with this.
I reached out to the owner on the first full day there about these issues (lack of towels and AC unit) and NEVER heard back. This was quite disappointing and frustrating. However, we did receive a message the day of checkout less than ONE HOUR before check out time stating procedures and rules for checking out and avoiding additional fees. LESS THAN ONE HOUR! Thank goodness I checked my email.
Location - location was okay. It is about 8 miles from Disney World, but this equates to about 20-25 minutes to get there due to traffic. Longer for Seaworld or Universal. Also, head's up on parking. There is only room for ONE vehicle, which was not stated. Small driveway that only fits one vehicle. We had 2. The neighbors and people across the street took up all of the curb parking. We were able to drive down by the dumpsters and there were about 4-5 parking spots down there. If you come back late, there will not be any spots. Garage was locked so that was not an option.
Overall, it was decent and the decoration was lovely for the children. However, the lack of communication, not enough towels or parking, and problems with AC did cause a little bit of frustration.
