Disliked: Cleanliness
Location was great. The house was very nice but could use some attention to cleaning as there was some mold in both showers. The front door doesn’t seem to close all the way leaving a gap around the door. The door also did not feel very secure at night time and was missing some blinds on the door so anyone could see inside. We did pay extra for pool heating for the two nights we were there. The first night it was perfect. However the second night when we returned the pool was ice cold, and the back gate was ajar as well as the child safety net around the pool. I did message the host who replied very quickly I will say, but the host offered an explanation that the heat runs on a timer and the timer turns off at night. Like I said the first night it was nicely warm but the second night, which was around the same time frame, was cold. The host did say he was going to have the pool checked the following day(our checkout day) by a technician but the host never followed up with me or even attempted to remedy the shortfall. I just didn’t feel appreciated by the host enough for him to not say another word about the heat. He did offer apologies initially and I understand things happen but a major draw to this property was the heated private pool, which we could only use half the time. A follow up on the issue or an offer to refund one of the days for heat would’ve gone a long way.
