Roach City and Horrible Smell of Urine

The room had cockroaches. I asked for bug spray or to be moved to another room. I was told that's not possible. The smoke detector feel almost all the way off because the bathroom door slammed. The refrigerator door wouldn't stay closed unless you propped something up against it. I had to pay extra to check out at 1pm. Can you believe that? After all the mess I had been thru, they wanted more money. There was also rat poison just laying out. I had a child with autism traveling with me. I couldn't allow him into my room because it wasn't safe and I had no where else to go. Worst stay imaginable. Front desk staff was very kind. But that's about as good as it was going to get.

I read the reviews before i booked this place and thought some were exaggerating, but i found they weren't. There is a hotel property next door that shares the same parking lot and i believe those reviews were from the place next door. This property was downright awful. It was dirty and old. The room was disgusting. The kitchette looked dirty with peeling cupbards and a very old stove that i believe had "hot plate" burners. The frig was all banged up, the furniture was maybe from the 80's. The coffe table was banged up. The vent in the bathroom was rusted all around it. The carpet was very worn out abd dirty. The only decent thing was the bed. People live at this place and you can certainly tell it. Im sure those that live there are happy because housing is so unaffordable in the area. I honestly believe this is a place where drug dealers hang out. I was iffy on feeling safe. It is strange because the area surrounding it contains nice office buildings. In short --- Dont stay here!

This property needs a refresh badly. The floors were sticky and dirty, the kitchen cabinets were old and practically falling off the wall. The backsplash in the kitchen was awful. Worst of all the tub was a terrible color with speckles on it, probably to hide the dirt and the water didn't go off in the tub completely. I guess if you are looking for a cheap place to stay and willing to accept the poor care and unclean floors.........
