Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

We loved our stay at the Anaheim Majestic - the theme is great and it feels like you are in a world all to yourself. Would definitely recommend!

Kids friendly. Buffet breakfast for $15 is worth it

It’s a great location, lobby is very nice and restaurant is ok. The room had probably not been updated since the 90’s, shower was rusted and the room just seemed dirty and smelled musty. The ceilings had were popcorn style but some sections were scraped off. Overall kind of a gross room.

We stay at this hotel often, it was our first time staying in a room in the Garden Tower. The air conditioning did not work, a light fixture was broken, the shower fixture was loose and had very little water pressure. The ice machine in an alcove outside of the room sounded like a jackhammer running EVERY time it was used, all hours of the night, combine that with the road noise... made it hard to get a decent nights sleep. Thankfully, it was only a one-night stay this trip. I will try staying here again, but only in the main building from now on. I can only hope they will honor my request.

We stayed in room 1128 and it was spacious and elegant, perfect for my boyfriend's first trip to Disneyland. The bedding was soft and had a nice weight to it, and the bed was comfortable and roomy. We loved the shuttle to Disneyland and it made our daily trips to the park stress free. This is an amazing hotel!!

This is definitely a 3.5 star hotel. Rooms need to be updated badly (paint, stained chair tiny bathrooms). The room was very spacious and comfortable. Love the shuttle to Disney! The pool area was nice. It was a bit pricey for what it was, but we would likely stay here again.

Hotel is dated, needs to be upgraded, maid service was not completed well

We arrived at midnight. Room was still not ready! And the maintenance person had to literally bust down the door to open our room because the top latch was locked. The staff was unapologetic and didn’t really seem to care. There were stains all over the room. The cable barely worked. The headboard of the bed was all torn up. the coffee pot was broken and the AC didn’t work- we had to open he windows (which didn’t have screens). Multiple lightbulbs were out.

Very close to Disneyland and the family room with bunk bunk beds that look like a castle are adorable .

Nice hotel, great shuttle, good experience. Not give out of five, but a good solid 3.5 to 4. Big rooms, but odd that the bathrooms are so small.

The hotel was definitely adequate for the price. However, it needs some repairs and updates. The room had stained carpet and peeling wallpaper on the window sill. The bathroom needed some general repairs (new counters, new caulking in the shower, etc.). The lobby was nice and the deli area was very convenient and friendly especially for the morning coffee. I did get a sale on the room and I would stay there again for that price.

We were impressed with the spacious rooms, beautiful gardens, friendly and helpful staff and reasonably priced and tasty meals. A tram that leaves every 30 minutes to Disneyland is a plus. We will definitely be back.

This hotel was fine, the room was pretty clean. The location in regards to how close it is to Disney, perfect! The staff was very accommodating and kind. The biggest complaint is that construction is going on in the hotel and they still book the rooms directly below and next to this said construction. I didn't see that construction was going on on the website nor did they say a word about it upon check-in. It starts at 7am M-F and 8am on weekends. If you have a baby that is a light sleeper, or you yourself are a light sleeper...this may not be the place for you!!

Stayed 8/6/17 - 8/9/17 in a room with 2 queen sized beds. Room was clean and good sized with a mini-fridge that actually worked and kept things cold. Bathroom was sufficient, clean, not particularly "modern or renovated" but definitely worked. Hotel offers free shuttle to the Disneyland Resort and drops you right outside security checkpoint for entry which was nice. However, shuttle advertised as leaving twice an hour and picking up from Disneyland twice an hour, during busy times (first couple of hours in the morning around park opening time and at night 8-midnight), there are more shuttles running, but definitely not consistently and often there is a long line of others staying in the hotel waiting to board ahead of you. Plan ahead and be aware if you want to use the shuttle during peak times that you way have a wait.

Dirty room, stinks The room was not in good condition.

Rude staff, terrible air conditioner in room, Shuttle service needs improved. Parking fee and parking entrance with card are crazy

After a night at Disneyland it was easy to find and closer to the theme park

First room bathroom was dirty and food still left in fridge. There was also a hole in the wall. Description of room said room with a view, our view was of the fwy. Staff moved us to the second floor where two people could only fit up the elevator and the sink was broken.

Everyone was beyond helpful and accommodating. They changed our room to a closer location for us and helped us with reservations and helpful hint. The staff is quite charming and easy to talk to you.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Some hotel staff were kind, others were not. The restaurant staff was amazing, and the buffet was great! Pretty expensive, but cheaper than purchasing off the menu. There were a lot of flies on the food though, but it was very hot there. Biggest complaint was the bed. We were told all the beds were purchased at the same place and were all firm. This bed was like sleeping on a board. My husband's back went out, my neck was out and we asked for a new room, but the bed would be the same we were told. They did give us a new mattress, but still very hard. They added another comforter, but they had bunting inside of them, and were paper thin. The blankets were terrible:( After we received the new mattress, I had bumps all over the left side of my face and arm. They were like little water blisters all over. Made us worry about this mattress. But, the staff did try, it was management that didn't go the extra mile. We stayed there for 6 nights, so imagine how much pain we were in when we left. We wanted to switch hotels, but nothing was available. There were no vouchers given or anything extra due to the painful bed, so be prepared for extra firm. My husband was forced to sleep on the floor. Very disheartening, as this was our first trip without our kids. We had a king suite. Picture showed a couch in the room, we had a chair and small table, no microwave. Great pool, small hot tub. Shuttle service was the best part! Bed was miserable though:(
