My family stayed at the Pine Street Retreat in honor of my 50th birthday. I wanted a place large enough for my mom, my siblings, and all our families to stay under one roof. We had more than enough space! The house is charming and is styled beautifully. We ate most of our meals at the house, so we used the kitchen frequently. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, but we could have used more dishcloths and pot holders. We enjoyed the water and ice dispenser on the fridge and esp the Alexa capabilities on the smart fridge.The bedrooms were all very nice. The smaller upstairs room could have had space to put a suitcase or hooks on the walls to hang towels, etc. Other than that, we were all very comfortable!We especially loved to sit in the sunroom to have our morning coffee, and the kids congregated there to play board games.We were able to cook a brisket on the grill outside. Since it needed to be on for several hours, we needed to swap out the tank, but it worked just fine! We enjoyed time on the patio and made s'mores at the fire pit one evening.Our host was extremely accommodating and was easy to get in touch with if we had any questions.One thing to note: Our mom is in her mid-70s and has bad knees. The steps inside the house are extremely steep. She was not able to go anywhere except the main floor. She also had difficulty using the shower on the main floor as the tub is very deep and hard to get in and out.Thank you for sharing your home with us!
