I have been doing group trips for ten years and this was in the top two houses that I have stayed in. Great layout, comfortable beds, fantastic kitchen, and the local shuttle service is excellent. One tip, there are enough coffee filters for the next ten years please don't bring anymore.

Really enjoyed this stay for a two family ski trip to Palisades. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we used it to prepare breakfast and load up on coffee each day before hitting the slopes. Great proximity to Palisades base area and we took advantage of the quick door to door shuttle service each day. The living room was a great place to gather each night to stream ski videos and watch movies on the big screen TV with the kids. The bedrooms were quiet and comfortable and the high thread count bedding was appreciated. Thank you Mike and Debbie.

The house was very clean, welcoming, cozy, and was filled with so many cooking utensils! My group enjoyed our stay and loved that there was a shuttle that takes you to the Palisades resort. Mike was also very kind and super responsive! The reason for the 4/5 stars is when we woke up the first morning of our stay we woke up to the toilet flooding the bathroom in the main master bedroom upstairs. We were able to get ahold of Mike and let him know about the situation (luckily we were able to turn the water off for the toilet). He then was able to get in contact with the property manager who then gave me a call and let me know a plumber would be stopping by. The plumber did confirm one of the parts that connected the water valve from the wall to the toilet was broken/loose and that is what cause the water flooding. We had an intense morning dealing with all of the water. That being said, the minus one star was more about the inconvenience that it caused that morning trying to get ahold of someone and cleaning up as best we could. But aside from that Mike (the owner) was super kind and was able to give us some tips about extra towels to use. All in all I would recommend this house and the property owners to anyone looking to book in this area!

our stay at Powder Moon couldn't have been more perfect. Home is beautiful with many interesting pieces of artwork. Plenty of room for our party of 11. The whimsical bedroom off the garage was perfect for our two teenaged grand boys. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking staples, utensils and dinnerware. We cooked every breakfast and dinner at home. Beds were comfortable. The Palisades shuttle made access to the ski area so easy. Mike was extremely responsive and helpful. an added bonus was the discount he provided for ski rental through a local ski sale and rental shop in town. Highly recommend! thank you Mike!

We stayed at Powder Moon 12/15-12/21. The house itself is wonderful and was very comfortable for us. It is exactly as described and the owners Mike and Debbie have very much made every effort to make their home comfortable. Our plan was to ski, but of course the lack of snow this year in Mid-December made that impossible. We made do as there are plenty of things to do in the Truckee/Tahoe area. Mike, the owner, was very responsive and a good host. The beds were amazingly comfortable. I appreciated how everything is labeled (especially the light switches). The kitchen was stocked and I’m sure we added to the stores of dry goods .Overall, we had a great and relaxing stay, not the ski vacation we’d envisioned, but I’d stay there again

We had an amazing time. It’s our annual family trip and we had ourselves, three sons, their wives and one 18 month old. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of spices and staples needed. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, silverware etc. The sheets and towels were high end. The hosts were readily available when we had a question and responded immediately. Highly recommend!

Divine Time at Powder Moon

We could not have picked a better place for an amazing ski weekend at Palisades! Perfect for large groups, wonderful atmosphere, and even better communication with the hosts and property manager. We had everything we needed, and the location is ideal for getting to the mountain fast and easily! We look forward to going back again and couldn’t recommend the property more highly. Truly a dream.

A Perfect Family Reunion spot

This was a special opportunity to bring our family together to share the Christmas holiday. The setting was perfect - spacious bedrooms for each family, a cozy living area, and a location close to the ski slopes. We had a beautiful white Christmas as we watched the snow fall from the huge picture windows throughout the house. In addition, the caretaker, Miles, helped make our stay worry-free as he was always available to answer questions and bring us any items we might need. He even picked out a Christmas tree for us to decorate. The owners, Debbie and Mike, were also very helpful and accommodating.

This property was absolutely amazing. It was set up perfectly for our needs. Great vacation home

Great place to stay. It was very relaxing and would be an overall five stars except for the cleanliness. The upstairs master shower smelled like pee and had black mold. My kids feet were black from walking barefoot in the house. Those were my only complaint. I would not normally care about the cleanliness but, there is a huge cleaning fee that I had to pay when reserving the home.

Great house for Tahoe getaway.

Well loved and used house great for a large family. Perfect location for all Tahoe activities year round. Good communication with owners. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms which was very appreciated.
