Oceanside Beach House Steps to Sand

Welcome the Sheila House located at Surfside, Old Orchard Beach! This 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom (5 beds plus futon) cottage is the quintessential New England beach house.
The cottage is located just one house from oceanfront and there are ocean views to enjoy from nearly every room of the home. The beach path is about 15 steps out the front door. The third floor suite has and enclosed porch with panoramic views of the 7 miles of beach.
The space includes three floors of living space. First floor outdoor deck and grill.
Please keep in mind when booking that 3 (sleeping spaces) for guests are in a bunk bed and 2 spaces are on a futon. If party consists of all adults it sleeps 8-9 most comfortably.
Parking for 3 cars max.

Please note: the gas fireplace is currently not working.

we are pet friendly. Please crate your dog when you are away from them. Please do not allow pets on beds and furniture. If pets are accustomed to being on furniture, kindly cover it to prevent damage and hair.

The property is easy to find, everything clearly marked. The house was spotless. We hosted our family for Thanksgiving and the house had a wide variety of cooking utensils, pots and pans, serving dishes. Our host provided additional/new dinnerware service for our group.The best part is the walk to the beach, which is indeed steps away. The beach area is off season, but we easily found a fantastic place for pizza AND for breakfast one morning.

Home away from home.. but better.

What a beautiful home. The airy feeling with natural light and the plants, makes the rental feel like home. There is SO much room and beautiful views. I stayed in a rental once before, but the rules made it feel too strict. But this rental was not like that. They are kind owners and theres a letter to simply say they love their home please respect it. Being off season, the dog got to go on the beach. Great walk. It is so close to Portland and a great area with food and such. This will definitely be my go to rental every time we head to Maine. (It should be yours too!)
