Process of booking to checkout was too rigid in communications. Everything only through text. Too impersonal in my opinion. What if we had delayed flights past office hours? What if my cellphone had lost power or my charger was in my lost bags? There was an emergency number provided.
No paper instructions for the house were provided. Would this be too much to ask? Again, these were provided only by text.
Upon checkin the HVAC setup was confusing, but there no one to talk with. This did work out, but not without a string of texts a mile long. A short phone call would have settled the issue sooner for both parties.
The checkin was computer controlled and too rigid, so we had to wait in a rain storm, and gained entry not a minute before. Outrageously, we were offered an additional hour before check out for $150 fee.????? We checked out an hour and a half early.
The sheets on the beds were a blend of rayon/polyester, which were hot and uncomfortable. Sheets ought to be mostly cotton.
The unit was clean and modern, but too sparsely furnished. No chairs in the living room or bedrooms, though there was a couch and a love seat in the living area.
This property sits next to a burned out building on one side and on the other side a house appears to be boarded up and abandoned. This detracts from the lodging experience.
A live conversation with the property manager could have allowed this review to be more positive.
