Not sure how this is a 3.7 rating, more like a 2. Breakfast is granola bars and a stale muffin, property is dirty and smells, beds worn, sheets scratchy, towels more like rags. FYI, all rooms allow pets.
The place bad , dirty , under the bed there was trash , can sodas and others stuff , they dont clean under the beds ...the elevator was not working, the night shift front desk was rude ....it was a bad expirence overall...
Close to where I needed to be, friendly staff. Orbitz claimed breakfast was served however on check in I was informed there was not breakfast served at all. The cost for the quality was terrible. $170/night and found out it was a Covid housing unit. Add that to no breakfast served when I planned for that, highly disappointed.
I initially booked this hotel because it included breakfast since I had a conference early in the morning in Carlsbad. So when I got to the hotel I was told that breakfast is no longer included but I was charged for it. That is not right. You should not charge someone for breakfast and not include it. I did not argue with the front staff but just accepted the fact that breakfast was not included and just forced myself to get up early in the morning to drive and get something to eat. Another thing was once we got for the hotel we noticed it was clean but the bathtub and microwave were not clean. There was still food crumbs leftover in the microwave and the tub had some hair and some black stuff on the floor of the tub.
Low supplies. And staff took a while to attend you.
Overall, the stay was ok. Our room was never cleaned and the keys stopped working daily.
The room was clean and staff friendly. No problems with amenities. Biggest complaint is that the ceilings/ floors are very poorly insulated, so both nights I had difficulty sleeping because I could hear the constant sounds of foot steps and thumping in the room above me. The same exact thing happened the last time I’d stayed in an ESA as well.
The walls appear to be very thin. My neighbors tv was on all night and I could hear him speaking on the phone. The noise was unbearable. I was unable to fully catch my sleep.
It was a great to live there for a day and I will be happy to come back again

Nicole was very nice at the front desk, check in was easy. The lobby smelled a lot like smoke when we walked in but the rest of the halls smelled good. When we walked into our room we were hit with a strong smell of like moth balls. Our bathroom door would not close properly, and the heater in our room had the worst smell ever. The beds were really comfortable and the coffee bar they have was okay. Instant oatmeal’s, little packaged muffins, granola bars, hot chocolate packets, tea, and coffee. The room was very clean and besides the smells our stay overall was good.
The hotel says breakfast is available. It is actually a pullout tray of coffee and an assortment of oatmeal selections and snack bars. Very disappointing. Glad my neice and her kids stayed home. The room and hotel smelled of marajuana. I had to open the windows. The hotel location was excellent for my event I was attending.
We had a smoke free room. It had a horrible, overwhelming stale cigarette odor. Will never stay here again !!!!!
