The property was untidy. There were stains on the mattresses on the bed and pull out couch. The walls and lamp fixtures were stained. I requested a refund to go to another hotel but was denied my rooms were changed so I had to suck it up and stay there but avoided spending time at the property.

Reserved parking is extra (i think $20 a night) but the location is great. the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. the bartender on the roof top bar was the sweetest we absolutely adored her <3

This hotel was a half-hearted disappointment. The biggest problem was security. The front door, which had a lock that was operable by guest keys, was zip-tied open so ANYONE could come and go. This was on a busy holiday weekend when Ocean City was full of people, especially young people looking for trouble. We had several coming in the hotel just wandering the halls. The rooftop pool was only 3 ft deep. Maybe a weight consideration? But it was dirty. The rooftop "bar" only served wine and beer, NO mixed drinks and only bags of chips and prepackaged ice cream. The ceiling in our room was filthy. The balcony was a small concrete slab with two sad looking chairs. The entire hotel was "meh" at best. But the staff didn't seem to care. The were just "doing their jobs." Save your money and look elsewhere. The Monte Carlo isn't worth it.

The property in a good location front desk polite however on our second day we asked multiple times throughout the day about house keeping and was told they would come around , or they have to checked out rooms first by 6 pm still our room has not been serviced on top of that no towels . Was told they will bring up and never did .

We got waken up every morning at 5:30 by trash removal! Air conditioner was leaking in the room. That's not a place to rest and wake up late! Staff were very pleasant.
