Check in & check out was smooth. Once in the room, noticed a significant road noise to find a room window (single pane) cracked open about 2 inches. Tried to close it but was not able to do so due to damaged track. Called front desk and maintenance came in 5 mins and tried to close it. At first, it looked like the window was closed all the way, but after careful checking, there was still about 1/2 in opening. Went to front desk in person and was told that no room was available because 1) we have been in the room more than 1 hr and 2) they had to keep rooms available for airline customers. Asked and given a roll of tape so that I can take it back to room and close the gap. Room faces main/busy street and highway so noise polution was a challenge for light sleepers. Maintenance came back and tried to close the window again but couldn't make it any more better.
Overall, both maintenance & frontdesk staffs were friendly. The facility needs upkeeping. Also needs new window covering. It lacked sheer curtain (for day time) and blackout curtain was visibly worn as you can see lights coming thru the worn curtain fabric during the day.
