I am from Pittsburgh and have been staying at this Ramada for the past 3 years when I come to visit family in Aberdeen. It is nice to see that the hotel is being remodeled but the process has been going on for the past 3 years. It is an eye sore each time to drive up in the parking lot and see demolition. The parking lot this time was very dark outside near the pool in the back. The light bulbs were out, creating an unsafe environment.

Unfortunately, the hotel was unable to accommodate my requests. I was with my handicapped mother and infant daughter and the room they assigned me was inaccessible due to construction. The reassigned me to another room which smelled like smoke, although it was non smoking. I then asked for a refund and was told I could not get one because the manager was not there. I was finally put into a somewhat accessible room. The pool was dirty as well.

Other than the travel time, this is a recommended place to getaway for the city life..

For a few nights at the beach with the family, this hotel is the spot. It sits right on the boardwalk. The in-hotel restaurant served good food at a reasonable price, and the facility was clean and quiet.

It was a nice hotel but I never expected the room to be so nice. Flat screen, marble tops, the works!

The first room we were given had hairs all over the pillow cases (yep..doubtful they were ever changed). I called the front desk to request someone come up to change the bedding but was told no one was available. Instead, they gave us the room next door. Problem was this "non-smoking" room wreaked of smoke and yet again 2 of the 4 pillows on the bed had hair on them. I wouldn't recommend staying given that there are 4-5 other hotel chains within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay. Didn't think the room was as soundproof as some other hotels. I was wishing for a more extended breakfast like the Holiday Inn across the street has. The bed was very comfortable, air conditioning worked well and nice amenities.

the staff was somewhat pleasant.. Motel needs a facelift.... showers were horrible..... wouldnt go back...

We really enjoyed the pool. It was sweet how the maid arranged my daughters stuffed animals on the bed after making it. This place was not a dive, but could use some repairs and updates. Shower curtain smelled dirty and hand rail on tub was getting wobbly. The worst part was the noisy airconditoiner,it also leaked. I would stay again if I needed too for the right price.

I'm not a hotel snob, but this place was pretty gross. It's not worth saving a few bucks to stay here.

Rooms are clean but there is a smell of smoke. The exterior is old and needs updating. Overall, a good value for an overnight stay. But for a longer visit, I would recommend spending a little more and staying somewhere else.

Considering the Ramada name, our stay at this location was less than ideal. The room was damp, despite the dry weather. Staff kept turning the heat off whenever we left the room.

The best thing I can say is that it was farily clean. I stayed here merely because it was within my company's daily lodging allowance. The facility is realatively old, run-down and could really use a facelift externally and internally. Having traveled a lot, I certainly have experienced that sort of thing before but the small flying bugs (gnats) is the real reason for my comments here. I could have overlooked the age of the facility and accepted the need for a facelift but the gnats flying around and constantly biting me all night (both nights) made the stay qite uncomfotable. Jay

The hotel room was clean, spacious and odor free. It is a good hotel to stay in if you need to be in Edgewood, MD.

average...fairly clean..nothing to write home about. Have stayed in many hotels that offered a lot more for less $.

Went to attend reunion. The facility was clean but older and a little worn, although the room had been redone in the last few years. There were small glitches: there was a wierd address on my reservation which had to be corrected, the fridge was noisy, and the tub spigot was really, really stiff to move.

It was a great deal. I really appreciated the mini-fridge in the room.

refreshing pool after hot days drive

The non-smoking room is so so so smelly. we just stayed there one night, and when we left, we found our clothes also had that bad smell.
