Close to the beach; needs ALOT of repairs

Awesome little motel. One block away from the boardwalk, directly across from the liquor store. Everyone keeps to themselves, check in was easy, pool was clean, my only complaint is that parking is a pain sometimes because there aren’t a ton of spots on their lot.

The pool was nice and they had things for the kids. But the hotel itself was not nice at all. The shower filled up and the shower head water came out every way. We asked for more blankets they told us yes and we never got them and we asked 3 times for more. House keeping never made the beds they just came in and put more towels on our beds and walked out. The people who stayed below us were so ignorant and obnoxious. We heard them over our TV in our room. Beer bottles were rolling all over the pavement due to this guest. They were fighting all night.

The pictures on line did not reflect the actual condition of the place.

The Desk staff was very pleasant, accommodating and helpful. No complaints there. Pool was just right for a nice dip and grandson thought it was great. The room was clean enough for "government work", OK but the tile floor was not swept when we got there, some small spots of mold in the bathroom, a hair left behind the faucet on the sink. Sink faucet was amazingly corroded, shower head was really old (vintage??) but worked fine and gave an amazingly great spray. Sheets were clean, beds and pillows comfortable. No bugs!!!!! A+ for that. No maid service. This is a no frills motel. Probably would not choose to stay there again but if all else failed would not be afraid to spend another stint there. A little more sprucing up and better cleaning this place would be fine and could pass off as great "mid century" style motel.

We were a five minute walk from the boardwalk, right where the first Pier is. Room was very clean and staff was nice. Only problem was there was a door leading from our room to the one next to us that our neighbors managed to get through. We called management and they came and locked it immediately, but the door made it very easy to hear conversations and the fact that they were watching Seinfeld until 3 am made it hard to sleep

Thank you for your review, Tracy. It's such a pleasure to hear you loved our close location to the beach! We do upkeep the motel every day. Every year we do major upgrades this year we upgraded all new mattresses, franchise furniture and new bedding.
