Unique Shabby Chic Florida Get Away

Unique property with all amenities in a great neighborhood which is close to restaurants and stores. This is a home which is divided into a duplex. The owner lives on the premises on the other side. She was very sweet to us and respected our privacy. She comes out to water her flowers and check on her cats from time to time. Our accommodations and pool were very clean. We even had a campfire while there. Thank you again Jennifer for sharing your adorable property with us we enjoyed our stay : )

Perfect for a short stay

Really enjoyed this place as the location was perfect for my needs. The only reason for a 4 is this place did not have a walkway from the front to the back of the house where you entered.

Nice Place - But Hidden Surprises Await

Unfortunately this was the first place we've rented that we had to walk away from. Our observation is based on the two hours we stayed.Before arrival, we had to contact Jennifer for instructions, as none were automatically provided. She responded quickly with clear instructions and helpful photos.Upon arriving, we were disappointed to learn that we needed to wheel our luggage through the dirt and through the side and back yards toward the pool deck area. As we entered the pool deck, we could hear Jennifer and family carrying on a conversation and observed multiple cats loitering about. My kids asked why there was another family here.Soon after, Jennifer was walking around the pool deck and back yard talking on speakerphone. We lowered the shades for privacy and figured out what to do next. This was a little unsettling for a couple of reasons:1. We booked through Vrbo expecting privacy, not a surprise guest—aka the owner walking about the property. Had Jennifer been upfront, we would’ve never booked. Vrbo Support confirmed this was a clear policy violation.2. Had we known the pool deck doubled as a cat lounge, we would’ve booked elsewhere—especially since allergies weren’t part of the vacation plans.3. The backyard may offer privacy from the neighbors, but not from the owner, who seems to think they're part of the amenities.This property is nice, but the owner must be transparent so renters know what they’re in for—assuming Vrbo doesn’t remove it. Good Luck!

Nice and quiet little area, lots of privacy

Great little hide away from hotel scenery. Close to shops and beaches! Would definitely go back. Nice little pool, picnic area complete with fire pit. Has beach chairs and umbrellas too!

Interesting little place

Didn’t realize it was so small but it had a lot of functionality in all space! Suggest some shelves over kitchenette on wall to free up counter space. Should have realized pet friendly might be a problem for my son who is extremely cat allergic. He had to go elsewhere. My grand daughter loved the cats outside. If you don’t mind small space, the place is great. Sheets were super soft.

Nice cozy rental..

Really nice set up, and unique private yard (with beautiful kitty's running around) Enjoyed our 3 nights, just wish it had been warmer for a dip in the pool. (Jennifer did offer to heat it to 85.) Air was only in the 60's. Typical Jan in Fla.

Very nice two complete bedrooms everything you need there's a pool there's a great French yard if you have kids felt very safe there would stay there again everything that was there that you needed from toiletries to kitchen gear would stay there again

Peaceful paradise

Jennifer thanx for a great stay, it was so peaceful, and quiet. We loved the heated pool, the attention to detail. Such as lots of charging ports Jennifer thought of it all such as blowdryer, bug spray even toothbrushes. The beds we're super comfy. In the shed we used the cooler and beach made life easier.

My family stayed at this wonderful home and had a fantastic experience. The property was fully stocked with everything you may needed, making our stay incredibly convenient. She had everything you may have forgotten, or need last minute. The host was exceptionally pleasant and quick to respond to any questions we had, which made the whole process seamless. Everything in the home was spotless, reflecting great attention to detail and care. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a hassle-free getaway.
