Stayed here when it was a Guest Quarters property. Recently changed hands to Radisson and the transition was not complete. No signage outside. The beautiful 7th floor lounge and terrace was not in use for anything other than breakfast. Everything was exactly as it was with Guest Quarters so maybe it will change. Minor issues with my AC and TV were promptly fixed.

Staff members were doing their best, but the recent change in ownership (it is now a Radisson, not a Club Quarters) made check-in with a pre-paid existing reservation a bit of a mess. The kiosks were not working, two employee workstations were crowded into one corner, no sitting area, etc. No room was available for early check-in. When I came back much later, I was handed the wrong checked bag three times until I insisted it was not mine (and it turns out the porter read the tag number incorrectly). The room was still neat and tiny, but the overall experience just felt lacking and not special at all, like Club Quarters used to be. No directions for the lounge, no happy hour, etc. Yawn.

Air conditioning works very hard. It can not be turned off. The brightness of the TV screen is set to automatic. It changes all the time when watching movies. My wife and I really love your hotel. Every year in June we will stay with you. Thank you very much!

Close to a great breakfast/lunch spot (brick oven pizza and cafe next door) and convenience store (Duane Read). Good proximity to icon sites (Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, St Patricks Cathedral). Rooms are really small if you have more than two people...no room to walk or put luggage with pullout bed open. Closet not functional for luggage storage due to pole in middle and a door that won’t open all the way. Bathroom had a musty smell and TV picture faded in and out. Spotty maid service with infrequent coffee refills. Two elevators for 25 floors. Frequently ended up taking the stairs due to long long waits for elevator. Super noisy if room faces street...everything from nearby construction and street maintenance equipment to early events at Rockefeller Center and late night street revelers woke us up every night of our 5-night stay. Most amenities such as clothes dryer and coffee machine are at sister property (The Jewel) next!door or non-existent (luggage scale).

I arrived at 5:30pm and my room was not ready. I had to wait in the bar for approximately 1/2 hour. I was not offered a complimentary drink or anything.
