Great location, home was exactly as pictured, a great place to feel part of the local culture, and also a few blocks removed from French Quarter. House is furnished with nice pieces, no IKEA cheap stuff. Hosts were welcoming - easy check in and out.No car needed.

We enjoyed our stay here. Located on a very quiet street, yet close to everything! House is exactly as described. It has modern touches in the kitchen with the character and charm you’d expect in NOLA. Layout is great - separate bedrooms but with connecting pocket doors for an open layout during the day. Close to great music and food. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Renee is responsive and has great recommendations for neighborhood gems. Would stay here again!

The house was adorable and well-appointed. We really appreciated the location, as well. Cute neighborhood with local cafes, bars snd restaurants but a quick walk to Frenchman and bourbon street. Our host was also super helpful and responsive!

Easy location

Nice home located just a few blocks from bourbon st. The house was clean, odor free and a nice welcome home after sightseeing. The parking was good for the most part. I just had to park a block away once and it wasnt that big of a deal for us. Everything worked great like it should as was a really easy check in and out. I recommend talking with the carriage company across the street. They will let you tour the stable and pet the mules. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Location

Perfect distance to be able to walk to the French Quarter. Home was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet at night compared to where we’ve stayed previously. Definitely will rebook when we’re in the area. Lovely home with a great host.

Great place, so walkable

Had a great time during French Quarter Fest and a couple days after. Such a good location for walking to the quarter and Frenchman St. really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Weeknights were super calm and quiet with a little more activity and noise on the weekends, but that’s to be expected in such an urban/inner suburb setting. Thank you to the host!

Upon arrival, the home looked the part of what I was expecting. I had an amazing time walking around and found the home itself to be cozy. The only reason why I am giving a poor review is due to the owner charging me 100.00 one week later after my departure for “water stains” on their old dining room table that already had scratches and stains to begin with.Most owners provide coasters and or specific requests to ensure guests adhere to; there were none. I was not going to mention the home is old, furniture is not the most comfortable, the primary bedroom’s bed is less than desirable and wind whistles as it comes through the cracks of the door due to no weather strips, but to be charged one week later for normal wear and tear is not appropriate. Again, none of this would have been mentioned, but the idea of an owner charging for “water stains” on their dining room table where glasses and other dishes sit directly on top of without any table covers is excessive. I would be happy to pay for damages that I caused, but that is not the case. It makes a person wonder how many “water stain” charges has been padded to others who have stayed at this home. I recommend folks to request a walk-through before actually staying or just avoid this rental, altogether.

A gem of a place!

The listing was just as it said it was, clean, spacious, perfect for a small family. We had privacy and it was a great spot to end the evening together. So many lovely touches - coffee! Band-aids! Everything was easy to find, and the location couldn't be better. We had our favorite meal lesss than a block away at Butsi's. Would eagerly stay again!

Lovely home and great location!

Renee has a lovely home. Very spacious and upgraded. The area felt safe as we walked around. Great location as well. We were in town for the Super Bowl and had great access to all the was happening in the French Quarters - we ended up having to walk home a few times bc Rideshare drivers were stuck in traffic and the walk was about 20 minutes. Highly recommend her home.

Great Location - Beautiful Home - Perfect Weekend

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend in Nola - close enough to walk to all of the action on Bourbon and Frenchmen but still very quiet and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Big Easy Beauty

Off the beaten path yet within walking distance of anywhere I wanted to go in the French Quarter and Marigny, this cottage was the perfect location. I loved the high ceilings and tasteful decor. Locals still look out for their neighbors here and parking was secure and easy.

Mardi gras weekend to MG day. Awesome spot, convenient to Quarter, Bywater and local revelry. Was even festivly decorated for the occasion. Host Renee was lovely and gracious.

Good location and nice place to stay

The place's location is close to Fremont Street and not far from the French Quarter; both within walking distance. The neighborhood itself is in the process of being gentrified. The place is nice but could use better closet/storage space.

Great Location!

We just loved our stay in NOLS at this home. So conveniently located, you can walk to Frenchmen, hear some music, or walk a little further and you are right in the Quarter. We rented bikes and rode all over, that was a great experience! If you want to go even farther out, you are still within walking distance of the trolley. Of course, you can drive as well. The house itself is super cute, just what we needed. Nice open plan, and two generous bedrooms- what more could you need? Owner was very helpful and responsive. Bart, Karen and Hank
