Concierge is snippy--check in and out. Dan loves the 'power' he yields as a...concierge. However his brand of service..needing to be in control and being snippy when speaking to hotel clients, is nowhere close to customer service in the hospitality industry. We greeted him and asked to check in/out to which he interrupted several times to explain that he actually has his specific procedure: "Now, no, you wait now, let's start with your name first. And then I'll take it from there." Kindly check the ego when you're at work. Valet was a lovely man. Top floor (6th) requires two elevators and offers no tub (handicapped shower without a stall). Poor concierge. Convenient location.

Great Location spacious rooms, very nice restaurant Desi Vega's connected to hotel.

Wonderful service. The room was nice and cozy. Our room was always clean when we came back! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Also the location was great, everything was walking distance we didn't even use our car! We will be back.

Hotel is on Lafayette square, right on the St. Charles trolley line, and a convenient walk to the convention center or the French quarter. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean room and clean hotel. Located .7 miles from bourbon street

I arrived lated form the airport and the hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. My room was ready and clean, very quiet. The Maid service was quick and the Bell Captain was professional.

Room was very good - clean, comfortable and with needed amenities. Lobby was small, not conducive to meetings or "hanging around" and could use a bit of refurbishing. Very accessible to activities. Tram is right on Charles St. - stop is across hotel - convenient but can make noise late at night. Good restaurant. Very helpful and pleasant staff. On Lafayette Square with quiet park, old trees.

All was good except for no vending machines nor room services.

Wifi didn't work in the room. Hot water didn't work in the sink. Traffic was loud. Front desk staff were inept. Good location, but otherwise not a lot of positives, especially for the business traveler.

Beautiful hotel, remarkable staff... safe, short walk to the Quarter. best NO has to offer

Excellent and corteous staff! The room was always clean and made up each day.

Loved it! Would return again. Very nice room, very clean, comfortable bed. Restaurant downstairs was excellent, although very expensive.

Great stay, geeat staff, excellent location - close to everything but not right in it. Would def be my choice to stay again!

Close to the action, but still in a quiet area. It was great for my conference, but was still central to everything we wanted to do. Right across the street is a streetcar stop. The staff was very helpful.

I was pleased with my decision to stay here. The location was close to the trolley and French Quarter but removed enough for a peaceful vacation. I was particularly impressed with the valet staff. Very friendly and happy to help in any way!

The staff was very friendly. The room was very basic but clean. No tub, only large shower. Very nice bathroom with the large shower. Overall enjoyed it for overnight business trip.

Clean, comfortable, great staff, very comfortable bed

My sister and I needed a little getaway for the weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. It was simply AMAZING from landing to departure. We stayed at the Lafeyette Hotel and it was such a clean and beautiful hotel. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Adam was a sweetheart and he really took care of us. The hotel, while close to it all but its still a walk from Bourbon St., and French Quarters. However, this hotel is close to museums, art district and CBD. Loved it!! I will be back to this hotel and of course to Naw'lings.

I was in New Orleans for a large business conference, and was unable to book a room at the conference hotel. The Lafayette Hotel was close by, and the facility was excellent. Not a lot of extras, but I wouldn't have used them anyway. Also, very close to many things in New Orleans.

Great hotel, very clean, friendly staff and close everything.
