Wonderful hotel. Everything was perfect! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable/adjustable.

Hotel was good but priced expensive. Pool was small. No witch to turn jets on in the hot tub. Breakfast was over priced for the quality you get.

a lot of noise, hard to sleep , staff pleasant room clean & comfortable

Comfortable and modestly affordable in a place close to family members

We do hotel in travel between Yale and Brown. It is in a good location near New York City. Lots of Dunkin Donuts near by for a quick breakfast on the road. The hotel staff is nice and welcoming, and the room was clean and large.

No free wifi was the only drawback. Clean room, comfortable mattress, plenty choices of restaurants just across the road, plenty parking spaces and quick check out.

Liked that it was near my client, a drug store, restaurants. Nice bar area and a "pantry" for forgotten essentials, snacks and beer for your room. Also, some nice trails five minutes away for a morning run. Well, more of a hike due to the snow...

Stayed only for one night and arrived late at that. Was helped immediately by the front desk even though it was after midnight at time of check in. Polite staff but were unaware that a diner less than a half mile up the road was open late on Friday and Saturday nights (we found this by fortunate accident). Room was clean, my side of the bed was ok although it was vaunted as a sleep number bed...my wife enjoyed her side. Price was good for one night, near highways. Definitely a business hotel.

We were in town for a friend's wedding. We didn't spend much time at the hotel but our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very courteous.

Clean, easy to get to with a few extra amenities. Beds not that comfortable, no movies on demand, slow wifi service.

Free printing and copying and cookies at front desk. No problems.Very attentive staff. Free internet. Restaurant could have more selection and better prices. Not much around the hotel.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shelton CT. We had a bag of toileries stolen from our room. The $40 worth of stuff wasn't the big deal. The way I was treated regaring the missing items was. Horrible customer service. I would NEVER return and have nothing nice to say about the staff there!

The accomadations were extremely clean and well maintained. The hotel staff were helpfull and always available

Everything was satisfactory, not too much to complain about. The house cleaning came in uninvited twice during my 5 day stay.

Hotel was alright. Staff for the most part seemed friendly with a few exceptions (night manager seemed half asleep). The halls smelled a bit, and there were some glasses left out in front of some rooms for over a day. Also noticed the walls are extremely thin. Heard the TV playing and people mumbling in the next room pretty easily. Then they had their 'awesome' breakfast buffet for $11.99 that was basically the same continental breakfast you get everywhere else for free with the addition of an omelet bar you could order from, not worth the price when there's some great diners around. If you just need somewhere to sleep, it's probably fine, but if you want something good, I'd look elsewhere.

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and have enjoyed our stays, not so much this time! The bathroom was not very clean, i.e. mold and generally not up to snuff! The matress and pillows were very uncomfortable. As in the past, other guests can be quite noisy on the weekends i.e. children and adults being loud in the hallways later into the night. I do not think we will be going back in the future.

Great room & service

It was very nice and I was overall very satisfied with the whole trip. The staff was very friendly and helped me with everything I needed. I would definitely return there on my trip. They have an outback steakhouse across the street which was very convienent. We went to captains cove in bridgeport which was a fifteen minute drive. It was gorgeous. Within five minutes there was also a sports center that had ice skating, minigolf, a golf range, fun bowling, and lazar tag.

Nice, clean facilities, friendly staff

the hotel was fine. not the most glamorous destination. nothing outstanding. bunch of drunk knuckleheads hovering around the hot tub and a huge group of teenage girls setting up shop in the business center to check their facebook status. overall, a completely expected experience. the select comfort bed was pretty miserable, not worth the extra fee (though we were not charged for that through the on-line deal.) bottom line, if you have to go to shelton CT, you could do worse, but you're already in shelton CT, so it's really not of much consequence.
