My family and I stayed here during s week my son had basketball tournament games. It was very convenient to get to the sports center (about 3-5 min away). And the hotel was very very accommodating to request for upgrades as well as a later check out. The rooms were pretty clean. We stayed in two different rooms. The first one only had to beds and it was cool but the second one had two beds and a pull out coach in the living room area and a bedroom with a California king bed in it. The room was more than enough space for my family. I loved it!!! The only downside is that the bathroom/sink area could use more space as well as an upgrade. We never used the pool (to busy with games) and the eating area was cool too. We o my got to use it once. The staff was very pleasant and helpful at all times. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when in town.
I stayed at this property back in April, I have stayed at this property many times before over the years as Myrtle Beach is a vacation spot that I frequent. I always ran into the same front desk young lady KeKe who is kind and caring and always make me feel welcomed...however she was not there this time. Check-in went fine with the lady who was there, but when I came back from the beach that night I went to order from bistro before they closed after ordering I told the associate that I am an employee and showed my associate card, but there was no discount on the receipt. I asked her why, she said there was no way to give employee discounts. I asked to speak to the manager she directed me to front desk. After I received my order I went to talk to the manager at front desk who was on a personal call. I had to make eye contact for him to get off of the phone, I explained to him what happened and he said the same there is no way to give discounts at the bistro. I told him I work in a bistro myself at a different property and travel quite often and never have a problem with showing my card and receiving the standard discount, he very unapologetically cut me off and told me we just don't offer any employee discounts at this property ma'am. He did not care to hear anything else so I shut up and went to my room. This was a managers response to a guests complaint. Not cool.
When checking in, the lovely and smart Ke-Ke asked all the right questions which is why we received 4 room keys before I even asked (2 teenagers). She was bubbly, informative, detail oriented and sympathetic after our long drive that day. The next evening wen I approached her about a situation (not about the hotel) she was extremely helpful. She has an amazing demeanor and knows how to provide superior customer service with a fabulous smile!
My family and I stayed a night at this Courtyard. It's walking distance from boardwalk and minutes away from the seawall beach area. The hotel room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. I stayed in a family suite w/ 2 bedrooms. For a quick trip and to enjoy the attractions, this hotel would serve the purpose. Staff was friendly and helpful.
This was a very well kept up hotel the front desk staff were very pleasant and courteous, The room was very clean and spacious I was on the third floor very quiet and the bed was a California king bed and it was absolutely comfortable. Shower was the best shower ever. I was able to walk across the street to Broadway at the beach and I had a great stay would highly recommend this hotel to everybody.
Hotel located directly across Broadway at the beach, only about a 5 min drive to the beach area, staff are professional, a decent stay for a couple not so much for a family, attractions, grocery shopping and dining are close by.
I was pleasantly surprised at the size of our room. We reserved the King bed suite which came with 2 free breakfasts. Room was clean, bed was glorious, so comfy. The couch in living area was small. For such a huge space we were perplexed at why the sleeper sofa was a tiny twin. It was nice having the table that sat 4 in the room, since we have little ones who are at times to energetic for eating out. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. The only con would be the food in bistro was less then stellar. Breakfast was overly salty, drinks were expensive. I would advise in packing drinks ahead of time. A soda in the marketplace was $3. Only a 5 minute walk to Broadway or a 1 minute drive. We had a room overlooking 21st street and were able to see fireworks from room. Pool was clean and refreshing.
Visited for a long weekend during the busiest time of the year- 4th of July! Had a little problem with not being able to get a rollaway bed. The person on duty wasn't extremely helpful, but the next morning the manager (Andrew) was so nice and helpful! I really appreciate the helpful attitude! The hotel was booked to capacity, but the rooms were clean and nice. Loved the shower head. One thing that could be communicated better was the hours at the in hotel Starbucks bistro. We missed breakfast because we didn't know that they closed at 9:30am. Then we missed ice cream at night because they were closed. The hours may have been posted somewhere, but I didn't see them. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating! The Broadway was directly across the street, with lots to do! The fitness center was meager but ok. 1 elliptical, 2 treadmills, some weights and a bosu. Would stay here again!
Ok hotel. Has everything you need for a short stay. Plenty of parking. Ok room furnishings. Clean linens and towels. Ok toiletries. Ok mini cafe in lobby. Good location. Perfect for short or overnight stay.
We had a nice experience at this hotel. When we originally arrived in Myrtle Beach, someone had booked us a room at the Holiday Sands North down on Ocean Blvd. I walked in that dump and walked back out b/c there was no way my family could stay there. So I called around and Courtyard thankfully had availability. Front desk, mgmt, were helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, though not super spacious. The common area was clean, plenty of tables to bring food back and eat downstairs. Free parking and wifi, but no free breakfast was a bummer. It was a bit pricey for what it was, but the location across from Broadway at the Beach was convenient, safe and thankfully a safe distance from the Beach front area which is just nasty.
