"The staff is friendly and professional. Ricardo, who is in charge of the hacienda went above and beyond expectations. He made us feel very special as he catered to our needs, assuring the relaxing time we were looking during our stay. The breakfast is made to order with good options. We had the opportunity to reserve the dinners during our stay. The experience was delightful with candles illuminating the dining area, excellent choices for the background music and great service. On top of that all the meals were well prepared with fresh ingredients, excellent taste and presentation. The dinner menu has several options, including traditional yucatecan meals Ricardo also gave us a tour of the hacienda where we learned about it's unique history. You can see that he is working to preserve the culture of the area and to provide awareness of the surrounding community and at the same time he seeks to give a great experience to his guests. "While this is an older resort, the staff was extremely couteous and attentive. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping attended them every day. The front desk staff were very helpful and put us in touch with very competent transportation, as the resort is a bit off the beaten track, which added to its appeal for us.
