Hello fellow travellers, One night only. For us budget seekers this is not the ideal hotel although we did enjoy our stay. The hotel had all facilities needed for all tastes. Its in a good situation, next to a Corte Ingles and not more than ten minutes from downtown and main shopping areas,Locally there are p.lenty local bars and restaurants with menus del dia around 10-15 Euros. The hotel staff were all very helpul and the cold drink at the end of reception was a welcome much appreciated. There was a substantial menu available in pleasant surroundings. If we had taken the hot breakfast it would of cost us eight times the price we paid in local bar.Room had everything you would expect from these hotels. We were in room 206 alas we had a completely unAccessable patio with walls up to the heavens!!Parking is blue line around local area, carefully watched by a bunch of locals who more or less conned you into that extra euro or else!!!!! .Just about opposite there is an archelogical dig, which seems to have stopped for a while. I must say thank you to the management who lowered the price quoted on arrival of our room` by 25%.I Excellent hotel Bugsie Wray
Just the one night at the NH Murcia and found it to be perfectly acceptable. Location next to the Corte Ingles store just off the Gran Via so near enough to everything. Checkin was efficient and allocated room on the 4th floor facing El Corte, bed was comfortable and clean, the a/c worked well which considering it was 30 degrees was definitely needed. The room was a good size, it had a desk area and 2 armchairs to relax on. Bathroom was fine, big tub and easy to use shower, usual selection of NH toiletries and plenty of towels. All perfectly acceptable and what you would expect at a NH. Although the room faced the road, the double glazing worked a treat when the window was closed and you did not hear a thing. The wifi which was free worked very well on al my devices. Breakfast was included in the rate and very good, large selection of everything you could possibly want, you could also select ingredients for an omelet and the chef would cook it for you. Interesting selection of smoothies and power drinks if you were so interested, a really great start to the day. Staff were fine, a little aloof but friendly and happy to help, parking on the nearby streets did not cost very much and cheaper than the hotel car park and easy enough to the find a spot near the park. The hotel was a little hard to find so do your research or have a map with you as you come into Murcia. A good choice as the Hesperia Murcia is closed for renovations right now.
I have lost track of how many times I stayed here. You cant beat it for value for money and location. Do not get hung up on details (there are a lot of small things not perfect but for the price its not fair to complain). Get a room on the inner side that way the annoying 4 am motorbike will not wake you.. Enjoy
On a whim, my wife and I decided to take a short break to visit Spain and we picked Murcia because of the rich culture of the area...it so happened that we were visiting on Easter weekend, the holiest days in the Catholic Church. We've always known that Spain was deeply catholic but nothing prepared us for the rich religious displays that we witnessed... We also got a chance to sample some local cuisines...mostly tapas, we were taken aback by how many meals could be served with bread on the side! The Serrano ham we ate was the freshest and richest tastes we have both had...we enjoyed a good time and can't wait to return!
I celebrated my wedding party in the hotel and everything was perfect. Good quality of drinks, staff were helpful and kind. The food was very good and we had no problems at all Elena was great in helping us in organising everything. We slept there and breakfast the following morning was great!! Thank you!
This hotel ticked all the boxes. 1. Clean, quiet & comfortable 2. Great location. 5-10 min walk to centre 3. Excellent staff, helpful and friendly There was a small guest bar for drinks. The hotel telephoned for a taxi to the airport (€58 good price) and arrived within 3 minutes. Hair dryer, shampoo, shower and towels were provided. There was a mini bar but no tea and coffee making facilities. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. I would definitely use this hotel again and highly recommend it.
Stayed here for a weekend and I would recommend it. Just opposite the commercial area of the city and within walking distance of everything there is to see in Murcia. Good breakfast, confortable bed, really helpful and nice staff. Certainly I would stay here again if I find myself in Murcia.
From the time we walked into the hotel the staff were helpful our rooms were large and roomy nice bar area restaurants was clean food was good nice variety gym on 5th floor was suitable the hotel was in great location for shops and restaurants there's a square about 10 min walk where we had some great tapas we would gladly stay here again
This is the first time that I stayed in this hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The internet is free and the speed is halfway decent. The morning breakfast was well balanced with a assortment of fresh fruits and breads. You can also order a full egg and bacon selection off the menu. The main attraction of this hotel is the ideal location situated in downtown Murcia, where you can walk to your dinner or lunch restaurant.
Pretty basic. Good location in the heart of Murcia, but the facilities were very basic. Food very limited. Bar also limited. Room clean but also basic. Would prefer a more welcoming hotel. Too many characters required for a review
