First hotel I ever stayed in that had a night light in the bathroom! The check in staff were extremely friendly and pleasant.

The property needs to clean the rooms when the guests are staying through, not just every other day. We stayed a Friday-Sunday and our room was not serviced at all. They told us that they only clean rooms on an every other day schedule, which is fine if we would be staying 1 to 3 days. Then at least we would have had some house cleaning. If I am not going to get housekeeping while I am staying at the property then I believe I should be offered a discount.

A/C on my first room did not work. Had to change rooms. Tub drain and toilet flush was extremely slow in my 2nd room. First impressions were disappointing about overall property maintenance.

Great location. Couldn’t check in on time told room was not ready at 3 pm. Had to wait 30 minutes . No amenities to simply print out a airline boarding pass. Had to go to Office Depot for that 😡

Toilet in room should be replaced, bathtub should be cleaned better and shower curtain should be cleaned or replaced

They did not have our reservation from Orbitz. They could not access the Orbitz reservation. After accessing my Orbitz account and providing the Hampton reservation number they finally found the reservation.

room was damp smelling. had a wet smell sheets were itchy. breakfast was limited . its usually a better experience

Hotel was fine and close to WVU's Evansdale campus

The hotel staff wasn’t very friendly the hotel it’s self was updated the toilet flushed very slow no pool

I liked how friendly both registration clerks. Also the room was warm when we got there. The staff at breakfast went over and beyond helping us put a plate together for our friend who is fighting cancer and is in Ruby memorial. And the guy who was working front desk on the morning of the 20th deserves praise. He called me to let me know I left my sugar tester in the room.

I always like the pillows and white sheets at Hampton Inn. On this stay, the staff stocking the breakfast was inattentive to his job.

Perfect location for a visit to Ruby Memorial or Mountaineer Field. Great Breakfast!

Dear Miss Adrienne, Thank you for your comments. Please be aware that the policy that you are referring to is a Hilton policy. it is not one created by the hotel directly. Prior to October 1, 2023, the housekeeping service was provided every 4th day. It is now provided every other day, or upon request, as indicated on the sticker on the bathroom mirror. Had you requested stay over service, we would have happily provided it to you. I am sorry that this affected your stay so negatively and appreciate your valuable feedback.
