Did advanced purchase so room had already been paid for. When I get to the hotel they ask for my credit card, saying it's only to put on hold in case I use the restaurant or anything. Ended up being charged for the room again and it's like pulling teeth to get a response from the hotel. They say they need a MEXICAN bank account to refund my money (I live in the US) this is so stupid and shows how incompetent they are. Coming back to my stay, the 1st room I was given (#118) had the bathroom handle broken (didn't work couldn't lock close). When I ask to be moved they send some maintenance guy who realizes it's not an easy fix (which is why I asked for another room). They finally give me another room and when I enter the room with my family we see beds undone and empty water bottles, there were also hotel keys in the room so I'm not sure if it just hadn't been cleaned or if someone was still in that room (#128). When I go to the front desk to complain they say the best they can do is to give me my old room (#118) with the broken door. Kids, wife and I are frustrated at this point and really want to shower and rest (we were only staying over night to rest to our long trip). When I get in the shower I see where a soap holder should be but there are only the screws pointing out -pointy sharp end- pointing out. Hazard for the kids as they aren't as careful (I was careful when they were in the shower to make sure they didn't cut themselves). This was by far the worst hotel experience I've had in any hilton brand hotel. I guess the only positive thing I can say is that I didn't see any roaches and that my car didn't get stolen. Everything else was bad.
I didn't receive my complementary bottles of water when I was at reception desk. There was no extra blanket so we needed to call for one. This is an average hotel. Staff is friendly but not well trained in regards to HHonors points or benefits. If you are driving location is good but you have to be aware of the signs since there has been a lot of buildings near it.
This hotel is next to some major tech companies like Accenture and Infosys, and known consultants like KPMG. The Spain’s Consulate is also at walking distance. Not places for eating nearby, just a Starbucks and a small cafeteria next to it. You will need a taxi or Uber for going somewhere else. By the way our Uber drivers missed the hotel a couple of times. The breakfast at the hotel is good and the cook to order personnel is very friendly. The property needs some kind of renewal, more in the outside by the jacuzzy windows. Because of this the hotel looks just old and with some lack of maintenance. Beds are much better than other Hilton properties were I have stayed at.
The hotel in ongoing renewal. Brand new furniture and carpets on the rooms, you can even smell the fresh wood, this is nice. Now the bad part, a business hotel that does not have safe deposits in the rooms to keep laptops and other valuables. The tub fixtures and other badroom accessories are not well fixed to the walls. The closest doors are recently re-painted but the style is very old and does not go well with the new furniture. The light bulbs in the rooms are mixed of cool and warm light, awful. The quality of the food for breakfast and dinner are ok for a business hotel. However, the service was terrible they do not have enough personnel. Most of the employees have a good attitude but it is not enough. I won’t go back to this hotel.
I only stayed overnight. Their dinner facilities are OK. Not special but adequate for the price. The room was clean and also the bathroom. Breakfast was again fine if very simple. But this is not an expensive hotel and therefore one should not expect too much. One problem: they had not one tube of emergency toothpaste. There is a nearby Oxxo but it closed at 8 pm.
As I stated over the phone on Saturday Nov 18 and Tuesday Nov 21 when I made a complaint, we are very disappointed about the service. We went to that hotel because the Hampton Inn Gonzalitos Hotel had no rooms available for that weekend. We paid for the first breakfast and it was a horrible experience since my spoon was dirty and full of dry guacamole on the side. Then, the toliets on the men’s bathroom near to the reception was dirty and full of stool, my husband complained about it and Luis (at front desk) stated that some young boys were responsible for that mess. The bed on our room (424) was ugly and not firm at all. My husband spend two days sleeping over the carpet because his health and back problems. Paula from Quality Dept. offered us the room 507 and it was worst then our room 424. Then she offered me rooms 425 and 429, the smell on those rooms was disgusting and those beds were the same as our bed on the room 424. We paid $4,049.00 mexican pesos for the worst experience in any hotel in town. Paula offered 2 breakfast for us but she denied the refund for the amount that we paid on Saturday breakfast (around $460 mexican pesos) and she did not care about the comment about the dirty teaspoon full of dry guacamole. Worst experience ever. Expensive and disgusting experience in our second staying in the that hotel.
They did not accept the special corporate rate for my company also did not provide the free breakfast as the contract beetwen the 2 parties agreeded. Should show more customer service from the front end to the manager, lack of compromise with the guests. I had to go for a waiter on the dinner area because I had spent 20 minutes and no one went to pick up my order. plus another 35 minutes to wait to get my dinner. It was simply terrible experience.
It's a medium hotel, that could offer more services for the price you pay. Sauna and SPA are missing (just a basic gym), breakfast is traditional international buffet plus a fresh omelette service. Wi-fi it's good. Positive thing is the direct tunnel from the airport. At the end not worth the price, because we can found better hotels for that price.
Hotel used to be very well maintained a few years back, now it is not well maintained. Moldy ceilings, bad shower curtain rails, falling closet hardware are just a few items on the 5th floor, which is supposed to be the floor with the best rooms.
My first time in a Hilton. I spent just one night there, it was the night of the blackout in all the northeasthern part of Mexico (sep 10th, 2017), and was very nice that they had a good energy source so we had at least the emergency lights and no other service was affected. But, there were some details in the room that made it unpleaseant, you can see the pictures I took. As you see the maintenance and cleaning is poor. But the most remarkable detail is the painting to "decorate": a very satanic man. There are also a lot of noise from the outside, I do not know what it was, the sound was similar to air conditioning. But the bed was very confortable, if you use earplugs should be no problem with the noises. The best of all was the restaurant, I ate lasagna at dinner and for breakfast they offer bufet, everything was magnific. At this location there is only a Starbucks near by, and at night you have nothing else, nor a little shop. I stayed there for an appointment at the Consulado Español, that is around the street, at the tower 1, 7th floor, you can go walking.
