Staff was pleasant, rooms should be updated. Television is way outdated, as well as the furniture. Pool was nice and clean. Food was plentiful. THAT'S enough.

This hotel is very good for couples and family that just want to have fun. And there's lot to do with the children.

Loved every minute of my vacation. I will definitely take a second trip

Very nice hotel on the beach, the taste of the food has drastically improved from the last time I went 6 years ago . The entertainment staff is amazing! very courteous, professional, respectful, and talented.

Best experience in life! I loved every moment that I didn't even want to leave. My stay was absolutely amazing!

Hotel was excellent, facilities staff and amenities were also excellent, would definitely recommend to friends and would return

Didn't like twin bed put together for a king bed. Customer service was great

We had to change our room three times. No internet in the room, and front desk staff is not friendly at all. Jennifer the housekeeper was wonderful, always did a great job. The restaurants are first come first serve. You can't make reservations like u can at most RIUs. This is probably the worst one I have ever stayed at.

Staff was polite and accommodating, food was not that favorable, room was very clean and nice. Resort property was well manicured. Mosquitos was out in full force.

This is My 5th time to Jamaica, and my 3rd hotel I have stayed in. Let's start by saying the pictures on this site Is incorrect. They have updated from this disgusting purple, the buildings are now all white. I was placed in building 4.. nothing wrong with that except that building does not have an elevator.. the receptionist said I was only on the 2nd level. Which was fine until I realized it's the 3rd floor, ground level is level 0. The toilet often stops up. There are no vents in the room so it's moist in the air. The AC barely worked. Old fashion bulky TV. I STRESS THE ROOM SOO MUCH BECAUSE WHEN IT RAINED I WAS IN THE ROOM. A positive is the mini bar in the room. The pool was fine, there are plenty of chairs. A wish they had more entertainment during the day besides games. They have a spa which is expensive, $399 for couples.. SMH. Constant flow of food. It's a small intimate resort not much to see. The restaurant is first come first serve. No reservations needed. The staff was OK. I had better service at the Grand palladium. If you do not TIP they will overlook you.( even though they said the tip is already included) they have disco which I LOVED!! A 24 hour sports bar which is nice for the nights I could not sleep! IF YOU GET SICK ON THIS TRIP PLEASEEEE WATCH OUT! THEY CHANGE $40 to SEE THE NURSE. Plus TREATMENT. BUT SHE IS LIMITED. THEY DO NOT HAVE GATORADE OR SMART WATER IF YOU BECOME DEHYDRATED.. THEY JUST TELL YOU TO WALK ACROSS THE STREET TO GAS STATION!!!

Vacation is about relaxation but the experience especially the dining experience was horrible. It seem like there is a rush to get guests in and out of the dining room. The dining experience was less than pleasant-noisy, dirty tables and buffet stations, staff replenishing food as it it was a pigs trough, too much oil in foods and long lines. The conveyor belt experience-very impersonal . It felt like middle school lunch hour. The no reservation rule for specialty restaurants is ludicrous as the waiting time and maximum persons being served in one night makes it difficult to dine in those restaurants. I am so sorry I insisted on being seated in the Italian restaurant (I had to speak with the manager after being refused seating the evening before) -the food was awful-a mall food court serves better food. I will try Olive Garden next time, I am sure it serves better Italian food.

The staffs were very friendly, the food was great. Overall a wonderful experience

If you're going to the beach to walk along the beach do not go to this hotel because there's not much of a beach and it was super crowded. It's so close to the airport that you can't hear yourself think when the planes fly by. also there were nasty bugs in the room and the room smelled bad. there was mold and chipped paint in places it shouldn't be. We did however move over to the Riu in Negril and it was fabulous! But we're still waiting on a refund from the first catastrophe, ie. Riu Montego Bay

Beds in horrible condition ...............................................

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My family and I visited for 5 days for spring break. Great activities for the kids and the food was really good. The rooms are a bit outdated. If they update the rooms this hotel would get 5 stars across the board. The jerk chicken on the beach awesome!!! The staff was courtesy and pleasant.

Rooms are dated. Beds are hard, sheets were coarse, pillows flat with no support. Pool adequate with only one swim up bar. Food was good. Sand erosion making it very thin in many areas. Staff was great. Stay was good but many better options out there.

I was recently there with my fiancé and I must say it was amazing. Food was great, entertainment team was great they always find a way to keep the vacation spirit up. Only thing I didn't like was yhe TV in our room. It was really old, channels wasn't clear and the screen kept changing colors. Overall it was awesome

The Riu is a nice hotel. The pool and. Each are nice. The restaurants are nice. Especially the Steakhouse. The rooms however are very dated and the beds are very very hard. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay

his is my second time staying at this hotel in 2010 and 2017, but the very first time for my husband. The hotel is very close to the beach and the Montego Bay airport for convenience. However, the sound of airplanes passing over head is quite obvious at times, but I was not preoccupied by this given that the sound did not linger. The hotel staff are hospitable and respectful. The hotel rooms are clean, a decent size with desirable decor. The fan in our hotel room was broken and we placed a service call into front desk and although several attempts were made to fix this issue it remained unusable until our checkout date. Despite this the air conditioning system remained in good working order, so our stay was pleasant irregardless. We were offered the option to switch rooms, but preferred to remain in the same room.

This is all inclusive. That means alcohol as well as great food and non-alcohol drinks. We hopped aboard a boat that came right up to the beach for snorkeling for a small fee. I would certainly recommend.
