The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were clean, and the design of the hotel was fun. However, the experience was overwhelmingly negative due to crucial functional failures and deceptive practices.
The most shocking issue was the bed sizing. We paid for a King but were provided a bed that seemed smaller than standard. The front desk staff even admitted that their "king size beds feel smaller than a standard king," which is unacceptable as bed sizes are standardized. This felt very deceptive.
The comfort level was non-existent. The building is clearly a renovation of an old hotel. The AC/heater unit sounded like it was original to the building and was insanely loud all night. We had to turn it off and sleep warm to get any quiet.
The rooms are tiny and lack basic functionality:
Zero Storage: There are no dressers or closets, forcing us to live out of our suitcases for the duration of the stay.
Missing Amenities: There are no fridges or microwaves in the rooms, only one communal unit per floor.
Poor Bathroom Design: The bathroom is poorly lit, has zero countertop space, and shockingly, no lock on the door.
In summary, this is a case of complete style over substance. The design is eye-catching, but the fundamental comforts are missing. I would not recommend staying here.
