Friendly staff and great experience! I stayed a quick trip overnight and it was the perfect location!

Heaters in rooms were being replaced and had space heaters. Did not wish to have space heater and potential fire - dear friend just died in fire related to space heater!! Room had dusty and stained furniture - something in room caused my husband and I sinus congestion and coughing throughout night. Very uncomfortable. Would not stay at Red Lion Inn again.

Our room was large. Beds were comfortable. Heater worked well and was not too noisy. The breakfast was good. All the staff were very friendly. Our only complaint was that our shower only had a dribble of flow on the hot water side. We reported this to the front desk and they said they would fix it.

The best feature of this hotel is it's proximity to downtown. That's about it. It's a very tired facility, and the housekeeping is less than satisfactory. The carpet is worn and dirty, and the dirt and dustballs is a real turnoff. For the money they charged, I expected at least a clean room...

We stayed here after arriving late to Missoula. Check in was quick and easy. Nice hot breakfast was a good start to the day!

The bathroom wasn't working. I can only assume why? Other than that, everything was good!

The hotel is older and needs some updating. Air conditioner doesn't keep room cool enough. Not enough seating in breakfast area although food is very good . Desk service is slow both for check in and check out.

Drove into Missoula after a long day on the road and first impression was not a good one. Vacant run down restaurant at entrance, hotel looked like it was a lot older than it probably was. Lady at desk was very friendly and helpful. Got to room and was surprised that it looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 80’s except for the flat screen tv. Getting ready to retire for night found that the room phone didn’t work trying to set wakeup call. Then tried to set radio alarm found that it wasn’t working either. Night clerk brought us another clock radio it was new in box and it did not work either.

Stayed here with our 1 year old grandson. Room was great - had a crib, and a nice warm pool. Poll was a bit cloudy but that was no concern. Did not have the breakfast, but it looked quite good. Definitely a solid value.

The hotel is adequate but shows its lack of maintenance; wear and tear in the rooms (bathroom fan not working, carpeting drapes worn etc). Very little effort went into cleaning the rooms, from what we could see as the room looked about the same as we left it in the mornings. Landscaping outdoors is very poor and unattractive. Breakfast buffet is disappointing and easily one to skip. twice when we arrived they were out of coffee and foods and the staff were not in a hurry to replenish. We've stayed there a couple times before, mostly for down town location, but may consider other hotels that provide shuttle to/from airport and cleaner more attractive rooms.

Hotel is a little old and beat up, but beds were comfortable and staff was friendly

the rooms were very clean, comfortable beds, clean pool and the staff was very friendly and helpful. would stay there again and will recommend to family and friends.

Not friendly or helpful staff- asked about the computer printer needing a cartridge and there wasn't a replacement one. Not helpful if they say they have an available printer and don't. Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about.

Staff was extremely courteous and efficient. Breakfast is so-so. Room was extremely comfortable. Location isn't great -- a bit far from downtown.

Front office staff unfriendly, unprofessional. MOTEL run down.

We stayed two nights while house hunting in the area. Our room was clean with no overwhelming cleaning product odors. I loved the complimentary soaps in the bathroom. The hotel staff was cheerful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Overall this hotel is a great option for a budget stay.

It should be nice after they finish updating and rebuilding, and the train runs right by it with the horn blowing.

Did not meet expectations. Pool closed, extensive remodel in progress. Room a bit dirty. Glad it was only one night.

I had booked a room here and when we got to the hotel we were excited to just relax before going the rest of the way to Coeur d'Alene but when we got there they had no ac and it was 101 outside and they only offed us a fan or two that would not work so we got a refund and drove the rest of way there through the night. Bad hotel never stay there again

I was a little worried when we first drove up. The place looked real run down and the drapes in the windows were all laying messed up. When we checked in I was not told the pool was not opened. I later heard someone else being told that. I came here because another hotel had put their pool was being renovated. The rooms were better then I first expected which was very important. Grass was dead and weeds were all over. Not the picture I saw on line. I would not refer someone to this hotel.
