Family trip

The property was good and as described. The location is walking distance to the beach and the golf cart was an added convinience. The communication channel with the property management is only open till 5pm. After checking in at 5pm, we found out that the garage door was not opening and we could not get the golf cart out. I left the message in the evening but got response next morning indicating that the breaker might have tripped and I could reset it to open the garage door. So basically, we lost the opportunity to use the golf cart on the first day.

Amazing House

We really enjoyed our stay at Workin for Waves. The property was clean, spacious, and was equipped with everything you needed in the kitchen (mixers, air fryer, margarita machine, etc). The golf cart was great but difficult to find parking at the closest beach nearby, Miramar Beach. It’s only a 10 minute walk but not really a designated walking path. Overall, it was great and would recommend to other families.

Friends Trip

Workin' for waves fit our needs perfectly. We had a group of 16 - 8 adults and 8 children. The size was perfect and the proximity to the beach was great. The golf cart was super helpful as we brought our stuff to and from the beach. The only complaints - which were super minor - were that we only had a couple of trash bags and toilet paper rolls provided, and the pool was pretty tiny (although it didn't bother our kids).

Nice large home for large group

Very nice home with plenty of comfortable beds and different rooms for the whole gang. Very convenient access to Miramar Beach, though parking can be a challenge during busy times. VERY small pool - sort of a large hot tub. Adults didn't even get in as it was so small... children had fun in it. Nice to have the golf cart to use.

Working for Waves worked for us.

This space fit our group of 15 wonderfully. The adults had their space and the kids had theirs. We appreciated the washers/dryers on 2 levels of the house. We were impressed that each bedroom had a different perk. The master had a bigger bathroom, 2 had their own balconies, and 1 had direct pool access. Don't forget the paperwork for the golf cart, it is very handy, almost necessary, to have on your vacay. We didn't have any issues with our stay. If you have mobility issues this might not be the place for you. There are a lot of stairs as this is a 3 floor home. We were very happy with our stay.

Nice house

This house was super clean and nice! It has king size beds in all the rooms and the bunk beds were a hit having so many of them for the kids. It came with a golf cart which was super nice to have. The beach is just a short walk. The only negative is the pool was much smaller than I thought it was going to be. But overall super nice, pretty place to stay.

Working for waves

The overall experience was amazing, home is beautiful, clean and big! Management was constantly communicating with me prior to our stay. They answered all questions I had promptly, check in was very easy. However the pool wasn’t as expected from the photos. I also believe the heating of the pool should be included in your stay and not extra. That’s just my opinion! Check out should be a little later, and less for the staying tenant to do. We pay a lot for the cleaning fee already! Again just my opinion! One of the biggest things that upset me about the cleaning was my children found beer cans empty and full ones in their rooms! Again we paid a lot for the cleaning part.. Tana Self

Family vacation

Our group of 4 families totaled 17 people. This house accommodated our group wonderfully. The kitchen was stocked with all the supplies to be able to cook and serve everyone. Crockpot, air fryer, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, hand mixer, blender and lots of storage containers. The bunk rooms were perfect for our kids. The pool is a small pool but it did not stop anyone from having a good time! The rental company was easy to work with and responsive. The public beach access is about a 10 minute walk but the golf cart made that super easy and fun. The only issue we had was the reservation through VRBO stated it included insurance for travel and property damage as well as heating the pool. These items were not actually included in the rental company’s price. Diamond Gulf Rentals was easy to work with via text for any needs we had. We would stay here again and recommend it to others!

Fantastic house and location!

This was a lovely house and a great location! I'll give the Pros and just a few Cons. Pros: The house was very clean when we arrived - very cozy as well. Very close to the beach and the golf cart was a great addition. We could walk to the beach in about 7 minutes with three kids (.4 miles) but being able to drive with kids and not track sand into our car was great! There are also some beach toys which is nice if you have younger kids. This can be bulky to travel with and not ideal to travel back home with after sand time on the beach. The heated pool made all the difference as the temp in FL was in the high 60's during our trip. However, the pool is pretty small. Still, we had our three children (12 years and younger) plus my husband and I all in the pool several times. More for "play" not "swimming". The kids LOVED it! the backyard is very nice too and we sat by the fire pit on chilly nights. Great place to relax. The property management company was GREAT! Very responsive and checked in on us by text often. It was very easy to contact them for anything we needed. For example, the lock to the front door is battery operated. It needed new batteries so I texted the company. They had someone there is about 15 minutes to replace them. Check IN/OUT were both very easy as well. A few Cons: The kitchen has everything you need - except seasonings! So on our first grocery trip we had to get that. There are plenty of towels yet no beach towels and no washcloths! I might have missed this in the description - so we had to go buy some. This is a bit difficult if you fly as beach towels are not small. I'm sure there are no washcloths for sanitary reasons but I do wish I would have known this. The doors to the backyard have a sensor on them - it beeps (very loudly) after 7 seconds so going in and out can be frustrating - you have to press the sensor every time so not as easy with smaller children. Lastly, the cable kept going out. It was not a huge issue as you just had to restart the box - but it did get annoying at times. It also made it difficult at times to watch Netflix as the screen kept refreshing . I'm sure the management company can fix this. Even with those small cons I would stay in this house again! The location was fabulous as I ran every morning right along the beach and when you have even small issues in a house, having a good management company makes all the difference.

Covid get away

We chose this home because of the private heated pool. It was very warm and big enough for our 4 grandchildren ages 4-10. Two bunk rooms which we used one for kids to sleep in and the other one for play time. Kitchen was very well stocked. The best I’ve ever had in a rental!

Fantastic backup plan!

Hurricane Sally left us without a house further west for this childless trip we had planned for a year. We were going SOMEWHERE, dang it! This house fit the bill perfectly and made the 24 hr scramble to find it worth it. A block from the beach, heated pool (fall came early!), King bedrooms, golf cart...just perfect for our crew. Thanks for a great week full of amazing memories!

Beautiful family vacation home

From the moment you enter the home you will feel like you are on vacation. The property is new and the owners thought of everything. Furnishings were stylish and functional and the decor was gorgeous. No need to fight over who gets a king size bed because there are 4.
