The house was built in 1910, and has some wonderful character. From the tile floors to the tile fireplace, it's very charming. Certain parts of the home do show their old age, so please exercise caution and be gentle. With that being said, we have central air, however due to the structure of old homes the upstairs where the bedrooms are can get hotter in the summer months and you may require a (provided) fan to be comfortable at night, even with the AC running. In the winter we want guests to adjust the thermostat to a temperature that keeps the comfortable, as I said- the house is old so it is drafty- keep this in mind when you're booking. While the house may seem big from the outside, the inside is very cozy. The indoor fireplace works and is available for guest use. The kitchen is newly renovated and stocked with all the necessities, including a dishwasher. The bathroom downstairs was recently remodeled and houses a tub but no shower. If you're in need of a shower you'll want to use the upstairs bathroom. There are three bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen size bed. The main bedroom has blackout blinds. The other two bedrooms have curtains or blinds but not blackout. **FIREWOOD IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON SITE. $5/bundle **I do not charge a cleaning fee, so please be thoughtful of how you use the space and try to leave it how you found it! **If you bring a pet we charge a $20 cleaning fee to cover the extra cleaning needed for dog/cat hair - You will be asked to agree to this prior to booking! *

The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and a fireplace.
