I was given ground floor and it was noisy. On the first night, there was people talking loud who woke me up. No more ground floor for me.

This hotel was in a great location to walk to many landmarks and shops. About 1.5 blocks from Zocolo and also there was a bbva atm kiosk on the corner. It was hard to find the first time, it is on the oppositeside from the Canada juice shop /canada hotel. We had toom 201, with window facing the alley. There was nighttime noise but not terrible. Also, I enjoyed the hot water in the shower and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The showerhead looked like it wasnt going to be great but the hotel is kept up well and everything works, shoer and water pressure included. There was a small restaurant in the same alley we enjoyed as they were very friendly and the food was delicious.

Todo muy bien el staff super amables, el servicio de limpieza a diario en habitacion 10/10, el servicio que ofrecen de planchar la ropa excelente. Super recomendado las instalaciones a una cuadra y media de la Plaza de la Constitucion. Y en su callejon se puede ver el Desfile Militar

The staff were all very friendly, and the hotel and room were kept clean. It was quite quiet. The location is very walkable to a lot of popular areas and office spaces. Do note: the majority of rooms do not have windows! They are dark caves, and there is no airflow, and the room is very hot; the ceiling fan doesn’t offer much for air. We were there in August and September, cooler months, and even buying and setting up our own oscillating fan didn't do a whole lot. We wouldn't survive in the summer months. I'm sure the limited rooms with the windows would make for a great stay. There is also no parking, which was proven to be a problem for us.

El hotel está muy cerca del zócalo y de la alameda. La habitación estaba limpia, solo que no hay ventilación y había algo de humedad. Lo único malo fue que al llegar no aceptaron pago con tarjeta a pesar de que eso se indicaba en la página (no teníamos efectivo y eran las 10pm), la recepcionista fue algo grosera al respecto, indicando que ella "no podía predecir cuándo se iba a descomponer su terminal". Entonces recomiendo ir preparados por si algo se les descompone en el hotel ya que ellos no parecen estar preparados. También la página indica que el check-out es a la 1pm pero en realidad es a las 12pm.

Great choice in heart of Mexico City

Hotel Juarez is a clean, safe and friendly hotel only two blocks from the Zocalo, right in the center of Mexico City. The rooms are basic but good. There was no A/C but there was a ceiling fan which kept the room cool, and weather outside was quite comfortable, even in August. Hot water in shower was a bit slow but not an issue. Rooms have room safes, which allowed me to store valuables without worry. The bed was comfortable and staff changed sheets and towels daily. There is no restaurant in the hotel but just twenty meters from the entrance there is a very good restaurant, El Popular, which is open 24 hours. Room rates are quite attractive. All-in-all a wonderful option for staying right in the heart of Mexico City. I would definitely stay there my next visit.
