Perfect (Minus Understocked Kitchen)

This is a beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally clean home in a quiet neighborhood. The view from the backyard is incredible. We will definitely book here again the next time we’re in Mesquite! If you’re not planning to do takeout the whole time, definitely bring whatever you need to cook. We came pretty prepared, but were surprised the house didn’t have essentials like salt and pepper. Not a huge deal overall, and I still give the property 5 stars.

Extremely disappointed

We were informed the evening before our arrival that the house we had rented was taken out of inventory for maintenance issues. The management company tried their best to find another house for us but to no avail. They were able to find us a condo that was suitable, however it was not comparable to the house that we were expecting. The price was slightly lower but it did not compensate for our disappointment or the extreme difference in the accomodations. The terrible rating that I am giving is due to the fact that we did not stay at this property so there is no way to rate it.. The property management did their best, they deserve 5 stars for their efforts.

Not what we expected

This property was ok. Not impressed with what was available for cooking. Just not stocked like a rental should. No extra blankets, just extra pillows and cases. Always been happy with other rentals on VRBO. Made full on Thanksgiving dinner at our last one. We think it had been smoked in, not a very inviting smell. Fan in family area didn’t work which would of been nice to help with stagnant smell. Had to request someone to come get outlets going in Master bath. Property manager was good about coming right over to get outlets going and was very friendly. Communication for check in and check out was good as well. Good location but wouldn’t stay there again.

The location was nice. A bit on the edge of town but in a new development and if you have ever been to mesquite nothing is far away. Beds were comfortable and living spaces were also nice. Incredible view from the back patio with a very nice bbq and fun little putting green. We went as two couples and stayed for 5 days to play golf. I would definitely recommend this place and most likely will rent this place again next year when we visit.

Nice home- stingy on the amenities.

This was a nice house in a good location. Quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. We traveled with our children for spring break to get away, hike, bike and golf. We wanted a nice home so we could be comfortable hanging out and cooking meals in due to Covid. Pros- Nice home, quiet neighborhood, beautiful views, good location, close to grocery, golf, bike trails etc. Cons- The refrigerator was broken and we didn’t realize it until the second day when all of our food was warm. The pots and pans are terrible quality. Big bummer during Covid when you’re planning to stay in and cook every meal. There aren’t enough dishes and they only provided 3 dishwasher tablets. We had to wash dishes after every meal in order to have dishes for the following meal. We didn’t have enough towels. We had one bath towel each and one hand towel to share for the entire stay in the master bath as well as one hand towel to share in the second bathroom. We also had one tiny bar of soap for the entire stay in each bathroom and no Kleenex at all. There’s a nice bar on the back patio that we couldn’t enjoy as there were two regular sized chairs that were not bar height and one was ripped and not useable. There’s a cute putting green that my kids enjoyed and it would have been a whole lot more enjoyable if there was a lounge chair or two to enjoy. Last of all, the TVs are out dated with very few channels available. We were not able to find one family movie or show for our children to watch. They could easily make your stay much more enjoyable by providing more of the basic amenities.

Quiet House

Nice new house in pretty neighborhood.

The house is new and quite nice. Bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. Outdoor grill and counter area was really nice to have. Overall we had a lovely, relaxing stay.

Family Get Together

Neighborhood is nice and view is awesome. Amazing grill in the backyard with a nice bar but the grill ran out of propane while grilling and we had to go pay for a new bottle. That was super disappointing. No bath tub just 2 showers. Only 1 bedroom has a tv in it. Wished they were set up better for cooking. The pans aren’t that great. TV reception not that great. Make sure you bring your own putter. There is balls but not putters. The location is quiet and so pretty.

New House

The house was clean, large, and new with a great backyard. Being a new house, it was on the outskirts of town, so no walking anywhere. Backyard has nice view. Some of the furnishings were lower quality than the house, so they might not last too long. (An outdoor chair had a tear in it already.)
