Pleasantly surprised by both Marseille and the hotel. The port area is lively and colorful, and the hotel is perfectly positioned.

actually, it was really great. The staff, the room and especially the location was very good.

I was a little worried about my stay in Marseille. French friends said one needed to be careful and select hotels in good areas. I opted to the Radisson Blu in the Vieux Port area. The hotel is located near a lot of restaurants and bars. While it is the old port area, the area is now a marina. My room was comfortable. There was a kettle, safe, free wifi and had a nice large bathroom. My bed was really comfortable. It was too cold for me, but there is a nice outdoor pool. There is also a nice fitness center. I opted not to have breakfast in the restaurant, but was up early to find a Nespresso machine, fruits and granola bars in the lobby. These were complimentary and satisfying enough for me to hold me over until lunch. Had a nice stay.

I selected this hotel purely because it was the only one of the list of hotels the website offered that I recognized the name. To say it was a good chioce, is a truly an understatement. It is superbly located on the vieux port with resturants, bars, the museums, and the cathedral all within walking distance. The staff are incredibly helpful and discreet, and the rooms are very well set up with plenty of amenities. To top it off, the pool at the place has one of the best views in the city with sweeping views of the "pharo", mediterranean, and parts of the "vieux port" Just wonderful.

Great Location, short walks to everything, metro, dining, bakeries.

Hotel was great value, perfect location, close to shopping, food and great views. Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and very comfortable.

This was a great hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. The pool was beautiful and the chef cooks on a grill until 4pm. Fresh shrimp, seafood, and even ribs. We also had breakfast and Dinner at their other restaurant one day, and couldn't have found a better place. Food is a little expensive but worth it. Easy and safe walk to most of the action many sites. Got home and had a problem with our credit card, but Chloe helped on the phone and everything was fine. We hope to go back soon.

Could not have had a better stay. The location is great for walking to the wealth of restaurants around the old port and gave us easy access to start our day trips (by boat, bus, or train) out from Marseille. Our early summer visit benefitted greatly from the pool and the late afternoon cocktails served there. Made it feel like a resort but still left us in control of our schedule. Perfect midpoint to our vacation. We definitely look forward to another trip to Marseille and the Radisson Blu.

Great location, on the harbor, next to dinner sites, 5 min from metro stop and main shopping. I was on business but it looked like it had everything needed for a family. Rooms were good, as good as you get in the US, roomy, very clean. Nice bar area and attached restaurant. I plan to use again this summer

Great hotel, great location!

The Raddison SAS Marseille was a great hotel. Only .5 miles from the beautiful meditarranean coast, and in the heart of Marseille, the hotel is perfect for business and pleasure. It has a great pool, fitness room, state of the art amentities in the room complete with stocked fridge and wireless internet. Close to shops, cultural sights, and of course right acrross the street fron the famed Vieux Harbour. Would stay there again, and plan to. Highly recommended.
