Said they had remodeled rooms which meant a new sink in bathroom.. carpet was old, furniture was barely staying together, floor boards missing, shall I keep going on??
Our room's AC unit wasnt the best and temps fluctuated quite a bit. With the fold out couch open the room is pretty cramped compared to other places we have stayed with compareable rooms. But overall it is a nice place to stay with friendly staff. Check in was quick and easy.
I booked this hotel last minute for a quick getaway with my family of four. The hotel was located just a few minutes from downtown Marquette, which was nice. The downside is that the road in front of the hotel is under construction. One has to make a U turn to get into the parking lot. The room itself was clean, with the exception of the carpet, which had several small stains. The room was relatively quiet, but our room faced the parking lot and one night a car alarm went off, waking us up. I could hear people walking upstairs on occasion too. There are ear plugs available at the front desk though, so that was helpful. I was disappointed to smell a strong odor of marijuana in the hallway outside our room one day. We left and came back a couple hours later and it still smelled. We never notified the front desk because we figured they wouldn’t be able to tell where it was coming from anyways. It is a busy time of year and I’m sure the hotel attracts all sorts of people, so I can’t fault the hotel. Just disappointed people can’t be more courteous. Overall, our stay was ok for the three nights.
What a hassle. Road construction makes access very challenging and unsafe. Hotel also wouldn't give me a refund for unused last night - after i spent more than a week here! Front desk lady was rude. Rooms never get cleaned "due to covid" yet their same hotel in escanaba cleaned nightly when I stayed there. Breakfast is a joke.
The spacious and very clean bathroom, very good shower. Comfortable bed. The nice litttle bedside lights weren't working, we thought. Until we moved the small bedside table and see that the plug was loose in the wall.
We loved the pool and being able to use the breakfast room to eat our meal that we brought in and family card playing! The room was great too! We had trouble with our tolit and they fixed it right away!
The staff were friendly and kind. The pool was awesome. There’s a restaurant tight next door which delicious and convenient.

Stayed here one night before a college campus visit to Mihcigan Tech. Room was clean, bigger than we anticipated. Breakfast was fine. Would stay here again. Also have to recommend the diner restaurant in front of the hotel. Fun place.

EASY ACCESS, GREAT BREAKFAST, AND EXCELLENT STAFF. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND TO OTHERS
For the money in Marquette, this a good place to stay. Especially if you have other kids along. Clean, comfortable... basically what you want in a family friendly hotel.
Over all it was good . The room could have been a bit cleaner the hotel was full yet still quiet. Breakfast was good and Hudson's restaurant was fantastic. Will stay again ....
We stayed eight nights (!), but mistakenly only booked seven. The staff were great about letting us keep our room even though they were nearly sold out. The hot breakfasts were pretty good, and the pool was clean and refreshing. The exercise room had high-end elliptical and treadmill equipment. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes out of the city and is close to generic restaurants, a mall, Target, grocery stores, and a Starbucks.
We were there for Graducation. The hotel is in a great location, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. We didn't get to enjoy the breakfast, that comes with the rooms, because it was very crowded. Not enough space to accomodate the guests.
We reserved a room with 2 beds, which I prefer for 2 people because the room and bathroom is usually larger, so it was a spacious room and laid out well. We had a nice view, too. The breakfast was average. If you have stayed at the Hampton Inn it is the same set up. We would definately stay at this hotel again. We slept well, the bathroom was big enough with a lot of counter space and the room was clean.
