Another fantastic stay!

This was our second time staying here, and definitely WILL NOT be our last time. Bruce is always very accommodating and the place feels like home. If you have any toys (motorcycles, slingshots or such) this place is wonderful and has plenty of available parking.

Beautiful cabin and amazing views!

This cabin is amazing! Beautifully decorated and very clean. The owner is so nice and very easy to talk with. The views are breathtaking and the Elk just casually graze in the yards around the neighborhood. We had a great relaxing trip and will definitely be back. Maggie valley is a beautiful place.

Perfect stay!

We loved every single detail of this cabin! From the fire pit to the beds, from the pool table to the comfy chairs, everything! It was also very clean and by far the best stocked kitchen we’ve seen in a rental. Great experience and we’re already planning to come back!!

This was our second stay at Elk Haven Lodge. The cabin was very clean and had all the necessities (kitchen cooking supplies, bathroom soaps and lotion, internet). I highly recommend this cabin for anyone to visit. Very relaxing.

Very welcoming host and the cabin had all the amenities we could’ve expected! We were a short drive from skiiing at Cataloochee and shopping/dining in downtown Waynesville. Seeing elk on our last day was also a nice touch! ;)

Check-in was a breeze as we received all we needed before check in. The cabin was in perfect shape, clean and ready for our stay and well stocked with linens. There was ground and K cup coffee available. The area was perfect, flat and practically new. The icing on the cake, so to speak, were the elk that would stroll through, mostly in the evening. The area was quiet and peaceful which made for a good nights sleep on very comfortable beds. If we needed anything or had questions Bruce was just a phone call away. We were on motorcycles and Maggie Valley has so many nice roads and places to see. We will be back there next year. Thanks Bruce.

We stepped into a beautiful new home with one of the best equipped kitchens we have come across.We were pleasantly surprised to wake up Saturday to 7 elk that stayed all day - until dark. They walked, slept and enjoyed the beautiful day. We drove, fished and golfed.Finding the Scottish Public House, about a 20 minute ride to Waynesville, was unique treat.Beautiful way to start retirement!

House was fantastic. Bruce was a great host and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The Elks were nice for the kids to see. We will definitely be trying to stay here again. Definitely would recommend.

Absolutely Perfect!

This property is perfect! Our host, Bruce, was fantastic! We felt so very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The property was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, well appointed, and perfectly located. Mountain views, elk viewing, easy access, and close proximity to Waynesville make this property ideal for a mountain getaway. We will be back in October!

Cabin had great layout & comfortable furnishings. It is well maintained with ease of access & good location to local attractions. The only downfall was new construction in progress across the street, which is temporary. This stated, we would stay again.
