We contacted Hollywood Homes Studio Apartments before booking to confirm whether the place was suitable for infants and families. We specifically asked about proper blinds and a dark room for nighttime sleep, and were assured everything was “good.”
The reality could not have been more different.
From the moment we arrived, communication was awful. Even getting a parking spot was a struggle. Once we got into the unit, we realized just how misleading their description was: the blinds were extremely cheap and completely useless, letting in bright light all night long. On top of that, a commercial sign outside was shining directly into the room, making it almost impossible for anyone—let alone an infant—to sleep.
To make matters worse, the noise at night was excessive and constant.
We reached out to the property for help, and after one promise to move us to another room, they completely ignored every email afterward—no follow-up, no apology, nothing. Their customer service is non-existent.
I absolutely do not recommend this property to anyone, especially families with children. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else.
