This is a nice hotel. The location is great, close to shops, travel links, and places to eat, but not directly in Central London, so this makes it cheaper. there is parking at the hotel (though I didnt use it). This seems to be used by 'White Van Men' staying at the hotel, so the small carpark is packed with Transits. The staff are great, the most helpful I have found for some time. The rooms are large by London standards, but the whole place looks like it was last updated several decades ago. BUT everything is spotlessly clean and everything works. the beds are comfortable and clean. This is not a 'polished' hotel, is a bit basic, but its great value, the rooms are large and the staff great. ..... and there is a free breakfast!
Got a decent nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Bathroom and shower was to a good standard. The reception staff were excellent and friendly. A young gentleman was very quick to sort out the heating in my room. What didn't I like? Breakfast was in a sterile almost "school canteen" type environment. Not one of the staff spoke to me or made eye contact during breakfast. And I got no toast despite requesting it.
We were visiting our niece and we needed a hotel close to her place and the Quality fit. The rooms were clean and we had enough space for all our luggage etc. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. Included in the price was a full breakfast and there was a cold and hot side buffet. The hotel is also close to a tune station as well as a bus stop. This is a great value hotel.
We stopped here for two nights and it was as fine. My daughter is quite short so she took the additional bed. We don't see ourselves as fussy so overall it was a pleasant stay. The room was small and the breakfast was simple BUT for the cost it really was quality and nothing to grumble at. We wanted somewhere with parking at no additional cost and we got that although the car park was small. It's a good location for getting into London either by tube or train . We would recommend, it was clean, we slept well and the shower was great, just don't expect luxury !
We stayed here for 1 night. The main reasons for the choice were the cost, the free car parking and the close proximity to Finchley Road tube station, Our room was very clean and the receptionist polite and helpful. Breakfast is eaten in the basement and was adequate. On the night we stayed their were some noisy guests and as our room 112 was next to the stairs it was quite noisy. There was no shower curtain either just a narrow scree about 50 cm wide which meant that the bathroom floor became really wet and slippery when taking a shower.
Stopped here after our 1st leg of our 200 mile charity walk. Staff were friendly and attentive and rooms were clean and tidy where there was everything we needed. Had a good night's sleep in comfy beds. Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of choiçe. If we are back in the area would stop here again. Thanks to the hotel for all their help
Stayed here on business recently, good no nonsense accom! The rooms are quiet, comfortable, clean, and Wifi works well. The Hotel has a buffet style English/Continental breakfast and a Bar, it does not offer evening meals. Travel stuff, a free car park, a couple of minutes walk to Finchley Rd tube or Finchley & Frognal overground, the buses are closer. Local shops include Waitrose and Sainsbury, a cinema, Nando's et al. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending staying here!
Dimitri and his magnificent, professional and extremely friendly staff absolutely made our five night stay in London the highlight of our 30 day journey through the U.K. Our room was spotless and the bathroom was meticulously clean. The housekeeping staff is the highest quality. The young ladies who service breakfast each morning were very warm and accommodating, and saw to it that the food and the eating area was always tidy and stocked with great food and clean dishes. The Quality Hotel is in the posh upscale Hampstead district and was just off the Finchley Road tube stop, so getting downtown and also to Kings Cross was a breeze. Well done to all. we thank you for the bottom of our hearts for making us feel a part of a family when we were soooooooo far from our homeland. love to you all. Thank you, Janina and Karolina for making us laugh every day!
Wasn't too sure what to expect having never stayed at a Quality Hotel; we had nothing to worry about as this was a lovely hotel. Hotel is clean, pleasant and very convenient for easy reach of the tube stations (Finchley/Frognall) via underground or overground. Also very easy to get to off the M1. Reception staff Dimitri and Skaiste were extremely helpful and happy to assist with all our enquiries to get out and about in London; their customer focus and high attention to customer service/customer satisfaction was extremely high and very much recognised and appreciated. Our room/ensuite was a tad small but perfectly served its purpose: clean and had all necessary facilities. Bar area is small but pleasant enough to enjoy a drink and natter. Breakfast was nice and served its purpose; nothing too fancy on offer!! Staff serving were very helpful and attentive. We didn't like the taste of the orange juice (from the drinks machine) but the apple juice from the machine was fine; you can't beat fresh juice served from a jug! Lastly, coffee from a machine (at breakfast) is never as nice as a filter coffee but the latter was not on the menu which for me was very disappointing especially when you are looking forward to that first coffee fix in the morning! Overall a good stay and we would return again (maybe bring my own coffee!!)
It might not look much from the outside, but for an overnight stay, this place is right on the money. The rooms are nicely laid out, modern, tidy, well maintained and have a decent bathroom. Beds are comfy, tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen TV and enough storage space for most occasions. Staff are friendly, smiley and speak English. Reception is 24/7 and so is the bar. Breakfast is situated in the basement (which is a common European concept) and is semi self service, hot/cold and as much as you want/need and its very good! I slept very well, its in a quiet area (by London standards) easy to find and less than 5 mins from a tube station. There is a car park too if you are determined to wrestle with the traffic. I picked this hotel after reading positive reviews...and they were right. I will be using this place again.
