Everything about this hotel was first rate. Great breakfast with a wide assortment of fresh items including home made pastries. Staff was unbelievably attentive. Prior to check in we asked for and received a very quiet end room on floor 2. The front desk, kitchen and bell man did everything they could to make out stay a great experience. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Strong wifi

I never write reviews but this first trip to Lisbon was wonderful mainly because of the excellent service provided by the hotel staff - Carlotta and Victor were phenomenal! Thank you for taking such good care of us while we were there!

Fantastic hotel with marvelous friendly staff in exceptionally central location. Will definitely try to stay at Hotel Britania again next visit to Lisbon

I can't stop the praise for this hotel. Staff were very attentive. The hotel was clean, inviting with comfortable rooms and amenities. Breakfast was delicious. I originally reserve a double beds room unfortunately the hotel staff was not properly notified. Due to the confusion they offer us breakfast for the entire stay. Their recommendation on what to see or eat were on point.

We loved this hotel because of the renovations which have restored the original beauty to the building. The floor in our room was beautiful cork - and a bottle of Port was sitting on the credenza. The staff was outstanding. Breakfast was beautifully presented and tastefully prepared. We were able to walk to excellent restaurants as well as the Metro. Not sure we would bring children - but it was a lovely spot to spend a few nights while we toured Lisbon.

This is an excellent hotel on a quiet street pararell to a main avenue on Lisbon. The service was excellent.Would stay at it again.

Location is perfect. You still can park your car, but you can go on foot everywhere. Stuff is very friendly. Rooms are large. WiFi works perfectly.

Great experience. Helpful staff, every one of them. Can't be beat.

Best hotel experience ever. Helpful staff, beyond expectations. All-in-all, a wonderful stay. If at all possible, stay here. Friends of ours stayed here and told us to stay here and we were grateful.

The Britannia was excellent in evey way EXCEPT that we were led to belive breakfast was included and were then very unpleasantly surprised to be charged 84 euros, or $122.64, for a total of 6 breakfasts. That works out to $22.44 per breakfast, which while adequate, certainly was not lavish. There was no mention of a charge nor was thre any charge listed anywere. Very disappointed in this situation.

The Hotel was wonderful. The location was great, close to everything but not on the busy street so it made it very quite. The service overall was 5 star. They made you feel like you were the only ones at the hotel and most of the time during our stay they were fully booked. I do not have one negative thing to say about Hotel Britania.

Very friendly staff

Beautifully decorated art deco motif, cork floor tiles and comfortable bed in a quiet but close-in location off avenida liberdade. Reception was helpful in recommending restaurants (Valentino's Italian restaurant was a great find and not far away). We'd definately stay here again on future visits. Hotel was impeccably clean, both rooms and public areas. Room had two arm chairs plus desk chair and table in our standard room so one didn't need to sit on bed.
