Great staff. It had the feel of an elite club. Too much was closed. I couldn't get an early cup of coffee or a post workout smoothie. A 5 star hotel should have it ready.

Liked Sky Bar- didn't like that barely anything was open, like Twist, Starbucks next door, burger joint next door, spa amenities (only paryially open)

The rooms are wonderful and unique. The blankets and pillows on the bed will definitely keep you warm.

Very professional service. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Not a 5 star hotel This is like 2 star Very disappointed

I didnt realize that this was a rebrandes Mandarin Oriental. The hotel is perfectly fine and I appreciate thatvthere is not a casino or smoke li gering in the air but also the proximity to a number of other hotels and restaurants. We were incredibly disappointed at how dated the room was and nothing seemed to work. The thermostate was stuck on 73°, several of the light switches didn't work, nor did the switch to raise the shades. I dont think we will be staying here again

Absolutely... the privacy. 1st class! Unfortunately it was valet only, no freedom to go back and forth to your car.

Everything was fantastic. The room was unbelievable

Our “Penthouse Suite” was on the 6th floor (of 30) overlooking the air conditioning units.

The hotel was very quiet and peaceful and also convenient in walking distance to other hotels and shops!

Amazing kept meeting me with champagne during my birthday massage

Loved everything about it! No casino so it’s very quiet. If you stay enough or long enough the valets get good knowing your name and say “Welcome Home so and so”. Staff will stop in the hallway and greet you as you walk by. Valet is very fast on getting your car ready for you and parking is 100% valet, no self parking allowed, even for residents of the hotel. Yes, 24th floor and up is residence only. Turn down service every-night is included and is out of this world. They would do their normal service then do something extra and different each night. One night they folded and set our night clothes on the bed from the nightstands. The Strip View is incredible from the 21st floor. The beds and pillows are VERY soft. The bathrooms are pure elegance. Since the hotel is formerly the Mandarian Oriental, locals are clueless on where your staying. Location is great, walkways and free trams are just next door on either side of you. Casinos are also next door. The pool is 4 ft deep and kids aren’t exactly welcome. They are allowed but they have signs saying must be accompanied by an adult and only in the pool for 10 minutes at a time. No idea if they actually enforce it. The pool is very windy being on the 8th floor and will close if winds get too high. 4 ft deep means little real swimming goes in, most people just lounge in it. They have 2 hot tubs and 3 pools, the middle pool is the largest at about 60 feet long and 8 feet wide.

Nice hotel. In the process of transforming from Mandarin Oriental so there are renovations taking place. When we were there, men’s spa was closed. There’s no casino, beautiful rooftop bar and friendly staff. Loved the junior suite with a view of the strip.

The staff was professional and accommodating. However, since Hilton bought this property from Mandarin Oriental, the clientele has changed, and not always for the better.

Mis communication during check in, the dinner waiter didn’t listen well, the food wasn’t the best on the strip.

Waldorf Astoria purchased the property in August 2018 from mandarin oriental & as of March 2019 they haven’t changed or updated a thing except change a few signs. Everything is still oriental themed & signs on the strip still say mandarin oriental not Waldorf Astoria. The property could use a few little updates & remodeling. My biggest problem with the hotel is actually the soap, it made me break out in a terrible rash because it was more than likely expired/very old & the chemicals in it had gone bad. When I stayed here 4 years ago when it was the mandarin oriental they used the same products. The soap I used had a 6 month expiration date & the hotel was purchased 7 months ago. So it looks like Waldorf Astoria has cut a lot of corner & doesn’t plan on making any positive changes.
