La Casita, The 1934 Tiny House

Relax and enjoy the quiet at this tranquil cottage. Built in 1934, tiny La Casita is a private retreat in downtown Laporte. Cozy up to coffee and a book on the porch or wind down after a day in the Endless Mountains. Historic Eagles Mere, the Loyalsock State Forest, trails and swimming at World’s End State Park are minutes away. A family playground sits down the block. Parts of La Casita have been lovingly remodeled, including its bath. Bedrooms offer one queen, one double bed, and a day bed.

As an old-fashioned summer house, La Casita is available in summer and Fall. It is not a winterized property and has no central heat or AC. We provide space heaters for your comfort.

The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a coffee maker, a travel crib, and a dining table. Change of towels is available on request.
